  1. Hey, i have an idea about the spoilers, to make them look better: Before: After (my idea):
  2. Hey, i like to work symmetrically because this is not a high-quality game, it's a pixel page. So when i animate in Cinema 4D i have a Snapping (Quantize) that makes when you move a object, it snap to a grid of a size (example: 32 pixels). Edit: This snap feature should work when we press shift and move a object in Mineimator. Mock-up:
  3. Hey guys, Alec here! So, this is just a suggestion: Why can't we just upload photos straight from our computer, and have an option to get URLs? This way, if we make small tweaks, we don't have to upload it again in imgur or tinypic and have 2 photos that look the same and make people play I Spy. Just a suggestion. ~AlecAnimates
  4. Hey, i have a idea that all the animation softwares have it: The frames per second or FPS. What does it mean ? When you animate if you have the FPS set on 30, each 30 frames in the timeline will be a second. It's kinda hard to understand if you never used another software for video editing or animation. In 0.7 we needed to use to get the right FPS for the animation based on the user performance and the current speed. I made a mock-up:
  5. i think we should have an option to be able to change our names every few day/weeks/months and no, i don't want to change my name to 'Shrek'.
  6. Hello, me, Ethan here, and ive been wanting to say that latly...latley...lately...i have been seeing alot of people downrepping by accident, but what if we can undo that so you can click the ? It happens alot on the forums, so i really want this to happen, thanks for...reading! bye!
  7. Okay first of all, i think it should be added in a future version, i don't want to delay the release of 1.0.0 anymore so my suggestion is to be able to make smoother mouths for rigs, that would help for smiles, lip sync and basically every mouth thing. example: now, i don't know gamemaker much so i'm not sure if its possible, but if it is, please add this.
  8. Ok i'v been animating for the past week and it was great but what ticks me off is that i have to drag the X,Y,Z, arrows till i get it to the right spot and it's annoying,, I know there's an option to move it to the camera, but sometimes it moves far i mean far to where i want it to be So i'm suggesting: 1.the cursor highlights the block it's pointed at (like minecraft with the crosshair) 2.have the ability to move the object to the highlighted location (like clicking a button and it's there) 3.A go to button (uhmm,, it's like you click on an object inside the library then a selection comes out to go to the location of the object i hope you hear me out, cause i make animations that uses the entire Mine-imator map and that's kinda big
  9. I got a idea for something cool, and it's not chibi this time, what if we could get Ghosting frames.. it's hard to explain let me show you ! Here is without ghosting: Frame 1: Don't look at my desktop, its it's private.... Frame: 2 And here's with ghosting effect (ps, i have no idea where that thing on the side came from :/ So what i mean with this is, that it makes everything from the past frame Transparent but still visible, this will of course only be seen in editing mode, it can help people know where the object where the last frame, and of course you can turn i off and on, please add this can also be used in making jumping/running/walking/driving etc animations
  10. For example, i want my character to start running but i don't want to spend 1 hour making it every time i wanna make a running animation So mabye it would be easier to be able to import keyframes from a different animation Example:
  11. I got some ideas for some emojicons we should have c: there are just something basic i made.. if you like one of them.. then good. good good good. = i did not make this one, but this is just a example ! = Happy troll (type: =D) to get. = Hardcore laughter (type: x'D) to get. = Derp.. (type: ._.) to get = Creepy smile (type: C:<) to get = SHE DED (type: x_x) to get IF U APPROVE USE ONE OF MY EMOJICONS IN UR COMMENT Which one is your favorite
  12. with this, a simple walking animation would be done. (Detailed) it would be good to add to the arms and legs. I wish there was an option (similar to the scale) for this tool. (sorry if not understood, I had to write fast) Image:
  13. I found this video: and I think Mine-imator should have an installer like any professional program. It is not as complicated as it seems. still a few days left for the release of Mine-imator, but equally The Glorious David could create an installer. (to win in presentation)
  14. i think it would be nice if we could change the character's rotation point, it can help with movement animations such as flips, jumps, dives and rolls. here's a picture to show what i mean:
  15. I'm going to go right on subject. If you donate you David you can put your forum name in or something and you can get a donator tag on your profile(?) or the thing on the side. Kinda like this: Just a fun addition.
  16. Greetings Animators! This is a suggestion for (any/a) future version of Mine-imator. It would allow the user to loop specific desired keyframes in an animation via the selection tool in the timeline. I'd be useful to animators who are making long animations and need to find the flaws and/or "debug" a specific fragment of the animation. You would first select the desired keyframes using the selection tool within the timeline. [ ] Then you would click the loop button () It would be that simple. However, we currently have to manually move the pointer to the desired place, then we have to do so again after the animation we need to view is completed. I hoped you found this useful and will use it in the future if David himself implements it.
  17. I like having slimes in my animations, but its pretty annoying that i must animate the jumps every time! And i really need to make many people run! so i really hope this gets added!
  18. this certainly serve to Mine-imator. because this can show XYZ points easily. (Help creating block scales and orientation) besides this is in the original minecraft (in Minecraft 1.8 snapshot):
  19. good .... the idea is a new option for shadows (hard and smooth shadows). also, would be good bends in the shadows more pictures: the bend in the shadows just change the corners of the cube (circular shadows)
  20. i'm tired of using the overlay to make the enchantment effect so how about you could just apply an enchantment effect on items, blocks or even characters?
  21. I've tried it and it would look like this: and just ask him to fix the bend like this: (it's very similar to the original) well ... as always I leave in the opinion of The Glorious David.
  22. Hey Guys! I have another suggestion, yay. So, if you'd open the rotate thingy of a limb in a keyframe, I thought, there could be an option which caps the rotaion at poinst where you can't rotate f.e. your arm IRL. Like, you could only rotate it about 90 Degrees to the back and stuff like that. That way, you could make your animations more human-like. And if you wanted to break an arm or do weird stuff, you could turn it off. Tell me if u like dis idea.
  23. I need that thing to be deployable, because i have too many rigs. Sorry for my bad english :l
  24. well ... the idea is that in Mine-imator it should have a editor or creator of guis. This editor would be to switch items in the guis. (this change items in the gui can make in keyframes) at least that's the idea... this can achieve the appearance of the game. well .... I leave in the opinion of The Glorious David
  25. Hey. The Glorious David, could you add this? No need to pressure but could by chance could you? Ok, heres the suggestion. I've been watching alot of minecraft blender videos like Redstone active and I studdied their feet. It looks like the feet are um, I don't know how to say it, like a slash /. Could you make it so this could happen in mine imator? So the bottom feet are actually like real feet?
