    PKM remodel (RIG)

The PKM was designed to replace the SGM and RP-46 machine guns that were previously in Soviet service. The weapon remains in use as a front-line infantry and vehicle-mounted weapon with Russia's armed forces and has also been exported extensively and produced in several other countries under license. 2. The Altyn is a titanium helmet of Soviet and Russian origin. A popular helmet, it is still widely used by modern Russian special forces despite of its discontinued production. It is named after the historical Russian currency altyn. The Altyn and it's faceshield are both capable at GOST 2, defeating 7.62TT and 5.45 PSM FMJ at 5m range. The roots of the Altyn are found in the Swiss PSH-77 helmet, which was used by the Soviet KGB special forces during the Soviet–Afghan War. In 1982-1983, Soviet specialists of NII Stali (literally translated as Scientific Research Institute of Steel) received their first samples of the PSH-77, who were ordered to copy and improve its design so a similar titanium helmet can be produced locally. Around 1984, NII Stali produced the prototypes of the new titanium helmet. The first Altyn helmets a 4mm thick layer of stamped titanium shell, and did not have an aramid layer. NII Stali also only produced the dome and the face mask, so their users had to install the communications equipment themselves. In the late 80's and early 90's, the aramid layer and radio was added, and the thickness of the titanium was reduced to 3mm. The helmet was originally used by KGB special forces. After the fall of the Soviet Union, it was widely used by Russian FSB special forces. It was utilized by FSB operators at the 1993 Russian constitutional crisis, Moscow theater hostage crisis and the Beslan school siege. Visually, the Altyn is extremely similar to its successors K6-3 and Lynx-T. The most significant difference between the K6-3 and the others is that K6-3 does not have a radio, while Altyn and Lynx-T do. The design of the face mask is also slightly different. The edge of the pixelglass on Altyn is connected to the mask with a smooth rubber edge, while the K6-3 and Lynx-T have thicker metal borders and visible screws. Compared to the PSH-77, Altyn's face mask has a different rounded design, while the PSH-77 face mask has two cutouts at the two corners of the face mask to make shouldered aiming easier. The production of Altyn ceased in 2009. By the 2010s, the Russian spec ops titanium helmets such as the Altyn were becoming morally outdated and started getting superseded by newer western inspired high cut spec ops designs mainly based on the FAST. 3. The AI-2 - Individual First Aid Kit was intended for issue to Soviet civilians in the event of war. It was introduced in the late 60s and produced up to the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. The AI-2 was stockpiled in fallout shelters and bunkers all across the Soviet Union, the Civil Defense of the Soviet Union was responsible for their maintenance and replacement (they had a shelf life of 3 years). The AI-2 was intended to be issued alongside the IPP-8A & GP-5 plus an IPP-1 Bandage, 1 full set for each civilian incase of war. As such, many hundreds of millions were produced and they are still extremely common today, though beware all of the medication inside has long since expired. The AI-2 was only meant for the Civilian population and personnel of the Civil Defense, the Soviet Army did not use the AI-2, they instead used the AI-1 with looks similar but contains different medication. 4. Yes the T-34 has more detail, this is to match the sloping the tank had. The german tanks in comparison had very little if not any sloping at all. Too much detail?

    AK-47

The AK-47 is the weapon finished in 1947, that would revolutionize how the world views firearms. The Avtomat Kalashnikova, translated somewhere along the lines of 'Automatic Kalashnikov', was created by Mikhail Kalashnikov with some inspiration from Germany's StG 44 and the MP40 (as the AK's design originally had a near exact under-folding stock). It would also be modified numerous times, being transformed into nearly any type of firearm known to man. Although the rifle had great historical importance, it's glory within Russia was short-lived when it was mainly replaced by the newer AKM model in 1959. Despite this, it would have a large presence over other countries around the USSR within Asia. It had a fire rate of 600 rounds per minute, and was commonly used with its 30 round magazine. It also had a closed-bolt design. Its most modern variant as of now is the AK-19, finished 7 years after the death of the AK's original creator. Images: (P.S. I literally made this in ONE DAY, so if things look half baked, blame me ) Edit: I forgot the DOWNLOAD LINK: https://www.mediafire.com/file/7rjpimzxhp5hb6n/AK-47.zip/file
  6. The DP28 (It appears we have western spy here, comrades.) The DP-27 was a Light Machine Gun that was created within the Soviet Union, where it had entered army trials in 1927, before its deployment in '28. It used the 7.62×54mm Rimmed cartridge (Same ammunition as the highly popular Mosin-Nagant bolt action rifle), usually with a 47 round pan magazine, fired at 550 rounds per minute, had an open-bolt design, and performed well during that era. It is best known for using the Pan Magazine format rarely found within firearms, and its use in the Second World War, as it is the last war the Soviet Union primarily used it in, before making further iterations of the same LMG, such as the RP-46.
