  1. Well hello again, I finally finished this small test animation. I wanted to try something diferent, to animate a large crowd of characters and apparently it turned out pretty good. I was also testing some lighting, usage of music and most importantly, camera movement by using folders. All this useful knowledge will be implemented in my future projects so yeah, I'm not doing this test just because I feel like doing a small animation (like most people use this subforum for), I'm doing this because I'm genuinely curious as to how these stuffs work. Honestly, I'd call this testing a success so here you go, take a look at it: So yes, apparently a huge crowd of animated characters is entirely possible in Mine-Imator. Haven't really seen anyone do this before so I dunno...
  2. Lighting is so dam nipple twisting sometimes for me. If you're still a total and utter scrub like me, you'll be trying to place a spotlight or lamp and it'll do jack next to nothing when you turn on render; the shadows will be brighter than the vibrancy of a baboon's buttocks and you'll be sitting their contemplating your life choices. Suddenly, it flicks to me as I flick this lamp out of view from raging shaking of the mouse. I should just watch a tutorial, but I end up staring blankly with my ears off like it's my fifth mid-life crisis today. So anyway, I try moving the X, Y, Z coordinates of the mouse a couple of times and it does jack next to nothing. I tamper with the ambience and give it a good smack bottom to increase the darkness of those delicious shadows... Nothing works because I'm bad. I give up and call it quits then realise I wasted 22 decades of my dying life. If lighting were a person I would push them out the window of a 30 billion storey building.
  3. Something I made not too long ago and I'm not all dissatisfied with it like my other renders.
  4. This is really cool for me because I tried 2 new things with this render, I made an enchanted sword, and I made a watermark. This was hard to make so any feedback would be well appreciated.
  5. Watched some videos about mapping in source, which then motivated me to do something in Mine-imator again. Took me one hour to make this and I really like the result :3 Made only in Mine-imator community build with no external editing. Use this however you like, just don't claim it as yours, thanks! :3
  6. I wanted to see how far I could stretch the limit of the lighting range, It didn't look very good ( Maximum Sunlight range decreases shadow quality ). So here is my attempt at trying to make it look pretty Not my best work, But certainly not my worst ( I hope ). Enjoy! { Without Lighting }
  7. This is more of a lighting test than an actual wallpaper but what the heck, here you go! Edited in After Effects. Use this however you like, just don't claim it as yours, thanks! ;3
  8. I wanna practice with Minecraft wallpapers more, and here's another Minecraft wallpaper! :3. Edited in After Effects. Used @Menace's Rig Use this however you like, just don't claim it as yours, thanks! ;3
  9. Howdy all This is my third test render Criticism is welcome and appreciated Credits Keipocu for the schematic lighting Keipocu for the mulitcolor lights Minecraft textures by Mojang Program(s) used Mine - Imator Community Build 1.0.2 by Nimi Paint.NET (mainly for the black borders)
  10. I have been playing around with mine-imator community build lately and well I really want to make realistic or decent looking lighting. Does this look good or should I improve on my lighting techniques? Thanks and I these are my better images that I have tested with!

  12. This took like an hour or so to make, probably why it looks so bad :l. I decided to edit this one because meh. Mostly just a lighting test more than a wallpaper, Made with: MI:CB and After Effects CC 2017 Edited: Unedited: As always, use this however you like, just don't claim it as your own, thanks :3
  13. Guess who's back? Well I am. I was having a bit of fun with the new and modern mine-imator and made this: Hope you'll enjoy. I might make something more sophisticated soon. My favourite thing to do in animation is make things look good, which I tried in this one, but I think I've learned a lot and the next one will be quite an improvement on this one. Thank you for checking it out! ^
  14. This is my first attempt using After Effects! Please no hate :3 First time here posting something on this community. Feedback would be appreciated! Yes, this is a Lightsaber and I'm a big fan of Star Wars. Rig (These are not my rig, they belong to rightful owner): Skibbz Facial Rig 2.0 by @SKIBBZ

  16. Hello everyone, kyle here. (debated weather or not to put skibbz's name in the tags) but i recently watched @SKIBBZ's lighting tutorial and i gave it a try. here is my results Criticism fixes It was a blast to make, and i really like the light green grass better than the default. i plan on using this a often as possible and once again, i'd like to thank skibbz for the tutorial, i think my animations are pretty decent, and this will make them more visually appealing to other forum members. If you manage to see me you are awesome
  17. Mainly testing a shaking camera effect, all was done in Mineimator, with keyframes. Credits in the video description! Please give tips/helpful criticism. If anyone wants a tutorial just ask! Its actually very easy and simple!
  18. Hello Mine-imator forums! This is my first post and I hope you all enjoy it, This is an advanced torch rig that I put together as you can probably tell, That uses multiple lights for a more realistic lighting effect and 3D particles for better looking fire! It also has a 3D torch head under the particles, Which you can use if you wish by disabling the particles. It also has easy to use wind effects, Simply select the folder titled "Wind Effect" and rotate it! You can also increase the wind strength by increasing "Force" in the particle creator, Under the "Particles" tab. Here are some pictures of the rig: If you have any questions about usage, Just ask in the comments! I would appreciate credit to my YouTube channel if you use this rig for a project, Link to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClhYGvi-HEpiCuvRUJB3Fxw Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/l6dmna2kfauy10j/Torch.rar (Please note: The file is a .rar archive and requires WinRar to extract) If there is any issue downloading it or viewing pictures, Please let me know in the comments =)
  19. After being gone for quite some time and deciding to get into mineimator again/thinking up some good ideas, I've noticed how people have volumetric clouds and lighting in their animations.. May anyone help me find a good tutorial on how to make volumetric lighting/clouds?
  20. Now that I have a basic grasp on positioning models and blocks and such, I am trying to make a short animation of a character walking back into their house after staring into the sunset. But one thing, I don't know: creating sunlight. Rays, to be exact. In Minecraft shaders, there is an option called "god rays" which simulate the sun's rays, in layman's terms. If anyone has any tips to replicate this effect in Mineimator, it would be greatly appreciated.
  21. After quite a few hours of trying over and over again, I can't seem to replicate the lighting that is in this picture. The original plan was to create lighting on a redstone lamp to create an effect that will shine the player from the block up, so that the light will hit the front of the player only.
  22. I recently posted a wallpaper I did in Mine-imator, and one of you guys (you know who you are), suggested that I add moonlight, which I think you can only create with light source in all directions object. But I need a good hex color for this one. If anyone has good hex colors they use for anything, I want recommendations, please?
  23. First wallpaper I've made in a long time, I spent a while trying to get the colours right Blood particles are an edited version of Voxelizer's
  24. I made these wallpapers a while ago and kinda forgot about them. So here they are... I guess.
