If i was to go ahead with the animation i will probably be using some effects from premiere pro in addition to minimator. Inside the following spoiler is the wallpaper... Inside this spoiler is a very general storyline of what i plan to create with the animation. When i get started on it i will be looking for voice actors, so pm me if interested and we can stay in contact. Thanks lads. Edit: ill just throw it out there that there will be no generic zombies like this in the animation :3

  15. I'm gonna see if I could redo this animation and make it both longer and better. The camera movement is pretty awkward in my opinion, so I may change that. What do you guys think?
  16. Hello There! Terabanic here to explain to you the basics of a fight scene and what is needed to properly animate one. Lets get right to it! Character Setup and Backgrounds When placing and setting up a fight scene you must ask you self : Where is it? Who is in it? What items, weapons, people or objects are in the way. Why are the people fighting? How many people are fighting? Are there teams? Goal of the fight? Is it an actual fight (could be a sport tournament for basketball and the fight could be to win). Take a look at these backgrounds and determine whether or not they are ideal for a fight scene. Compared to : You also have to take in the reason for the brawl. The gym could be better if there was a basketball game and a foul occurred. The reason being the foul and the possibility of 5+ people fighting. The kids bedroom could be a small tussle between two kids. The reason for the fight being the fight for the toy. You also have to take in account the character's : Age. Weight and Height Battle/Fight History. Fighting Style. Emotions (like if his father was killed and he wanted revenge) Weapon and/or power. Take notes of characters from action movies or anime and see about their skills and descriptions to get a better idea. This doesn't apply so much to Minecraft since the characters are blocks but if you aim for realism then look towards these descriptions. Side Notes Fight scenes are not always based on hand to hand or weaponry contact. The fight could be to win a game or beat a team. Its not always people hitting each other. A Fighter's Emotion and Notes In a fight, a important aspect is emotions. The big ones are : Fear Anger Intimidation Envy Hope Explanation : If a fighter is scared then they might be reluctant to fight or might fight to survive. Fear can also play a factor in whether or not the fighter is truly prepared to be a fighter. Anger can cause the fighter to be more aggressive and want to take down the enemy with maximum force. This can also result in the fighter overdoing or abusing his power. Intimidation is similar to fear but you feel like this could be tougher than expected. Weapons usually cause intimidation as well as experience. Envy or jealousy can cause anger and result in an emotional fight. Hope is the will to fight. If you are inspired to fight then you will be more likely to either become victorious or survive. This can also show dedication. Fight Notes Styles show that the fighter has experience as a style is not built just off of teaching but also actions. Stances can play a part in the intimidation as well. Take a look at these and ask yourself which one shows experience and is the most intimidating : 1: 2: 3 : Next is actual fight aspects. Impact and Balance. Impact determines how much damage a attack will do. High Impact can cause broken bones, torn tissue and muscles and serious bruising. This is usually caused with weapons. Medium to low impact can cause slight bruising and possible fractures of bones. This is usually caused with your hands. BUT...... medium and low impact do not matter if you have lost your balance. Balance loss on a medium to low impact can be dangerous because the enemy can counterattack and you won't be ready. This is why shaking a target's balance is key because it can cause many counter attack windows. Example : Compared to : Now, this is not all you need to know to construct a fight scene. This is just a starting point to get you in the mindset of a fight. So keep researching, reenacting and doing fight scenes and eventually you will get much better at it. ~Terabanic
