  1. So I make this Update Ideas A Simple As Possible,One of it are from my experience. WARNING! I'm still don't know how to use Spoiler to reduce the longest page to scroll down. Sorry. Graphics: Motion Blur. Lens Flare. Emisive Lighting. Specular Bloom. Interface: Auto Scroll While Expanding Folders. Free Camera Tab To Put Inside A Right Hand Side Tab. Camera Numbers=Useful when Using Multiple Cameras on Different Purposes. Windows Blur Transparent Effecs Interface. Timeline Head Always In the Middle While Playing the Animations just like In Premiere Pro. Vertical Right Hand Side Tab. Tab Feature,But Same as the Camera Numbers. Input: Only Scroll the Tab Wheres the Mouse Pointer Is On. Timeline Zoom In,And Zoom Out shortkey replaced with Timeline Scrolling Down,or Up. Program: Optimized A Big Massive Size Of Schematic to Avoid Lagging. Fullscreen Mode To Avoid Clicking the Taskbar While Wanted to slide the time line slider. Explainer: Graphics: Motion Blur=A Blurry Object when the object moved so fast. Blurry levels depends on the object speed. But I Already Find how to make it,But it's still not that perfect. But you can use this to different things. Lens Flare=A Light Circle When Look at a Bright Light such as SUN,And Other Lightsources. Emisive Lighting=Light Source Came From An Object size. If The object longer,then the longer the Lights Goes on. AND SO ON. Specular Bloom=I don't Know. Interface: Auto Scroll While Expanding Folders=No need to Manually Scrolling DownWards Just To Play with the Expanding Folders. Free Camera Tab To Put Inside A Right Hand Side Tab=Moves the camera Tab Freely To get Inside A Right Hand side Tab. Camera Numbers=Useful when Using Multiple Cameras on Different Purposes=A Bunch of numbers of an Active Cameras. Windows Blur Transparent Effecs Interface=Interface looks Like Windows Transparent Blur,Accept the ViewPort. Timeline Head Always In the Middle While Playing the Animations just like In Premiere Pro=When Playing the Animations,The Timeline head still in the noticable/Accessable Area. Vertical Right Hand Side Tab=To Avoid Fulling the RHS Tab that Consuming more time to play with it. Tab Feature,But Same as the Camera Numbers=Tab Feature that not makes the Viewport smaller,That was same as the Cameras Tab Numbers. Input: Only Scroll the Tab Wheres the Mouse Pointer Is On=When Scrolling a Tab,The Scrolling mode Only Scroll right where is the Mouse Pointer are,Not the first Area/No need to click a new Area to Be Able to Scroll. Timeline Zoom In,And Zoom Out shortkey replaced with Timeline Scrolling Down,or Up=Remove,Or Change the Zoom Shortkey to a Scroll downWards Mode. Program: Optimized A Big Massive Size Of Schematic/Scenery to Avoid Lagging=Reduce a high levels of Details,Or LOD When The main camera/Active Camera moved further away from it. Fullscreen Mode To Avoid Clicking the Taskbar While Wanted to slide the time line slider=Fullscreen Mode For Mine-Imator By clicking F11 just like Minecraft Game,Or else. @Nimi @david @Voxy I like to see your Opinion Sir. I want to offer one idea to you =3 The idea is to change the display of shadows on the surface of the texture, namely, so that the shadow occupies its one pixel of a texture. Of course, it is not quite clear in words, so here are some examples that were changed manually with the help of the editor and an example that was created from crutches, but in which you can fly independently. And here's video that perfectly fits the idea. Take a closer look at how the shadow changes pixel by pixel And comparison =3 It would be even better if it can be switched (Although this is natural, not everyone will use this feature!) Well, how do you like this idea, users and developers? Will it look pretty? Do you like this idea of stylized shadows? And is it possible to implement it?

    Idea Pool

    So, as I currently work myself in half just because of my procrastination and my final is due in the morning. I decided to do something completely unproductive and something I think will help lots of simple and/or complex animators. Mine-imator or otherwise. It's really simple, the title says it. I just thought about starting some sort of community Idea Pool. Basically where we can assemble a list of animation ideas, illuminati theories, maybe even co-ordinate "collabs". That aren't really collabs as much as giving an entire class the same project and telling them they're in a group is a "collab". But none the less. For example, I'll start: An animation where everything is made of cardboard. A philosophical narrative on how crafting tables work. A fad animation that's sure to get a starting animator's dreams ruined by downvotes. A slow-mo of Donald Trump's toupee waving in time with the american flag. What to do in Minecraft while bored in class. How to build a dirt fort. A Minecraft make-up tutorial. Things like that. If people find this a good idea or would like to tell me if it's been done before in a passive-aggressive, but mostly aggressive manner, then I'll be back on either later or tomorrow to compile any new ideas into a list, if any.   7. Hey! lou3d here and for the past days I have joined Mineimator! Now you must be wondering why am I making this topic? Well, as I searched at the vast worlds of this Forums there seems to be a few things that I want to ask before I take things deeply and seriously. Now all my questions can be answered by you "PERSONALLY" so don't argue with each other and don't quarrel about one thing. No. 1 What are the Mineimator Forums dislikes? (From what I mean't here, what does the forums don't really like? Crappy animations? Weird Scenes? Bad Behavior?) No. 2 How did this all started and why? (Of course, there is always a reason for everything. And probably answering personally would be a good start.) No. 3 What is this... "Unofficial Rule; don't Spam the forum Topic." (BECAUSE I COMPLETELY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU GUYS MEAN.) No.4 What does OC means? (I don't get it.) More Questions available in the future. Kek Bye. Thanks for your postive (AND NEGATIVE) feedbacks!
  8. So I had a couple of ideas for Mine-Imator that I wanted to share... 1.Focus Button (F,NUMPAD or KeyCombo) to focus the perspective or camera view to the selected object(s). 2.UI Scaling. Scale the UI by percentage E.G 100% Scale, 50% scale and so forth. UI scaling helps people running on low resolutions (800,600) see things better and makes the UI less huge. Also helps with making an organized and flexible UI. 3.View Presets. Like front, back, left, right, up,down and so on. But no orthographic or parallel views, only in perspective. Tell me whatcha guys think.

Here's alot of suggestions that will make mineimator better, nothing else i need except these :3 You can stick the bodyparts to the shematic (But it will still be able to rotate) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Add a bone to the feets --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Being able to have subtitles to the animations, not like placing it in the scenery, also an option to make a background of the subtitles --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Audio setting could have some kind of directory of minecraft sounds --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Particles with lightings --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A setting to premade lightings on the scenery (example: Glowstone will light up in this scenery, I dont need to place it in there), needs to have a setting to enable/disable due to extreme consume of RAM memory --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Better rendering, instead of pixels all over the map (Gigantic rendering settings doesn't solve the issue) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Optimize point/spotligts (Lags more than sun... Why?) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shaders (As adobe after effects could create) *Amazing if you could fix this, no matter how powerful computer you would need!* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Textures on geometrical shapes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Optimizing settings for peoples who loves to liverender (I don't need it... Just too many complains about it -.-) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A way to integrate two projects to each other (No need of editing softwares) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Create your own keyframe (Could be useful) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sound pitching like being able to make the sound higher from x to y seconds or lower... (Could be hard, but its not impossible (Also make a timeline inside the sound timeline if you are able to)) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fix the annoying custom video setting in project folder (It changes symmetrical, why does it even says custom xD --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's my tips to make a better mineimator experience, I hope it helps :)
  10. For a while I've wanted to take a flat image and make it 3D like the option for items. I'm pretty sure this can be easily done seeing how the 3D option still works for different item textures. It would make some things way easier to make an image of any scale 3D than be limited to 16x16.

I took a brief look through the forums, and I didn't find a thread that was for ideas for David to possibly add into Mine Imator. So I decided to make one myself! I'm not certain if there was one before this... If there was, then I guess a moderator can delete this thread... I sort of doubt A moderator, or even David himself will be seeing this, but if any of them do, here is a few ideas! If you have some ideas yourself, feel free to post them in the comments. I will have two areas. One for ideas that I had, and the other for ideas people who reply to this have. (I will be a slight filter on what goes in. Don't worry, basically everything will get in. You know what i'm going to filter out) My ideas: Fans, to make wind, so you can have multiple sources of it. Not just the wind added in with the background menuBetter resource pack support. (I know you can already import resource packs in, its just a bit difficult, and might be hard for newer users)Custom Entity Maker (So you can make custom models for actors. {Mobs, ect} Might be useful for rigs.)Actors have feet. (So you don't have to be as creative with bending legs to make it appear that the actor is walking, or going down stairs, or what ever he/she is doing with his/her feet)Music in the animation maker. (I know it was said sounds cannot be exported WITH the animation, I'm saying you should be able to play sounds, and music IN the program, so its easier to time things.)Items changing, or losing their parent actor with key frames.Laser Pointer light. (You would be able to change the width, and height of the beam.)Model Implementing support. (I mean like making a model in an exterior program, like techne, and importing it in.   14. Yeah another post but I decided to. features: I wood like features like undo and redo and even redo or undo a certain thing. Walking animations re-added Animations clicks for chests, slime jumping, ender crystal Minecraft Skin Fix for each version Snowman wearing Pumpkin and not wearing pumpkins. Re add the TF2 Stuff. You can open any project if Mine-imator like 7.0 and original. 7.0 like features Expert and Beginner things. Yeah sorry for not really cool thread but this is my opinion.
  15. Mine-imator ideas that are actually useful 1. Camera Speed This could be useful to travel faster with your camera, you can choose how fast you want it to travel, or have slow you want it to go. 2. Camera to Camera You know how hard it is to move the chosen camera to the position you want, why not make a button that puts the chosen camera exactly where your looking, same position and everything. 3. hide from timeline When i make rigs, i usually make parts that i will NEVER, NEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVR EVER IN THE WORLD move again, like if you have 3D hair, so you can hide it so it won't bother taking place in the timeline, and if you made something hidden with a mistake, you can press a button like "show hidden" and i know we have that folder thing, but i want to hide something without making a folder. 4. move object to camera Yea.. moving a object right in front of the camera, i hate always dragging the object to the postion of where i want it, so why not let it teleport in front of the camera. 5. change spawn position you can change the position you want a object to spawn in, as i said in the last one, i hate dragging a object to a specific place, cause the original spawn position is so far away.. and i'm lazy ,_, 6. Save pose I want it to be possible to save poses on object like steve, i want to save a pose ? why not make it possible ? 7. Not needing to create project(/Useless folder) i hate that i get forced to create a project ! when i just want to do a test, so the folder get filled of projects that i just tested something. 8. facing the camera You know how the 2D minecraft items always faces your way ? like you can't see the back, cause it always faces your way ? why can't you add that for text, but of course we will have a obtion to have a 3D and 2D text. 9. More Shortcuts I want a lot more shortcuts, like here's some examples Ctrl+X = Delete object Ctrl+P = Load new project Ctrl+O = Open project 10. ADD SOUNDS PL-*dead* Which one do you want to be added ?

So recently i just heard that mine-imator is coming out in about a month, and i feel like mine-imator needs more, just some small touches, and here is two of my ideas First Idea: Repeat mode So how dose repeat mode work ?, well have you ever wanted someone to just blink repeatedly so you don't need to edit his eyes to blink every time, well with Repeat mode you can chose something or someone to reapeat something like if you want someone to go in circles then you first make the animation and then you press repeat mode and chose what you want to repeat and how long you want it to repeat, let say if you want him to go in circles in 10 seconds, then you chose that, and when the repeat ends, you can start adding new animation to it, and this can be very helpful for repeating a certain body part, when they gets their own keyframe. Second idea: Breath mode and Shake mode well, not many animation programs have this, if you watch like Slamacow, most of the thing dosen't breath, like there body dosen't scale when breathing (maybe sometimes) but what if we had it, it would be so helpful to make something realistic or alive, and also you can chose how strong his breath and how fast it is, and i hade a idea for shake mode where the mode just shakes, like if someone is scared or if it's cold, you can just put it on shake mode and you can decide how fast he shakes and how strongly he shakes.. hopeful you see this David.   19. So I has been thinking for ideas that David could add or may have already added in 1.0.0. The option to choose what emits shadows. Say a facial rig, and you don't want a shadow is the eye. Don't know if it's possible (With the new engine and all that) but the ability to make things like whips (I know you could do this with a bunch of objects parented together) The ability to put text on signs (probably been asked 100 times) Thats all the ideas I have for now, Thanks for reading!
  20. Animations are not completely based on the duration of it. There are many other factors that are thought of that give a better quality. Here are some of my tips/suggestions for any animation. 1) Add in audio, people enjoy using all their senses, and listening is one. Not only does sound give off emotion but it also adds a layer of depth to your animation, find the right sounds and you can make your animation stand out even more. 2) Fluid animations is one of the harder things to do when animation because it generally means adding in more keyframes. Understand this is just something you should do if you want to further your animating skills and it is not something you need to do for it to be a good animation. Being fluid is more or less for most people getting the tempo/speed correct. You may need to export your animation more than once but being fluid can give you more rep as an animator. 3) Field of view is the next topic, this is what the person viewing your animation can see. If you get the right angle when you are animating you can make the world look infinite when it might just be another ten blocks behind. This also is a key factor when you get into heavy story based animations, because a view from one angle can hide the true look or feel of how the person is, and that might be what you want. Understand and mess around with what you think looks best. 4) Design is a big factor when you are making an animation, not only does it tell you what type of scenario the person it is, it also gives a sense of time period/era. Having an amazing set is not needed but it is always a nice addition. Make sure not to just try and use whatever, try and find what you want or build it. 5) Organization will go a long way when animating. You can label your parts so you know what is what, but also when making something you should have an idea already in your head or written down. This will make your animation better because you know what is going to happen instead of just putting something down and getting fed up with it not looking good. Please feel free to write your own tips so new people or even veteran animators can learn, you can never know enough.
  21. Yes, I'm going overboard here with the ideas... I know... but... who can ignore inspiration? This is linked to the one thing I HATE about the forums: Practically almost every single topic, when they disappear out of the 'recent topics' section, they basically become dead topics. (RPs are an exception) So, maybe we could have like a trending topics section, where the 5 most replied-to topics of the day are shown... is this a good idea? Also, maybe we should have a trending users section where again, the 5 most repped-up users of the day are shown...? I dunno, just some suggestions. (I do not know if this can actually be added, or if anyone else suggested this.) Thx for reading!

  23. I have some ideas / suggestions for mine-imator 1. Have addable text for signs 2. Make like a rope thing so you can use it for the fishing rod ( or stuff like grappling hooks) Hope u guys like it too ( leave a like if you do , so the Awesome David reads this. ) I Also created these ( btw they are old)
  24. Ok, so you know how people like making topics for commissions or requests being given to them? Well, why not have a section dedicated to that? The Ideas Section. In a nutshell, It's where people can post topics that are to do with taking in requests or 'free ideas' for things like rigs, wallpapers/art, skins etc or even for animation ideas to be given to them! Say somebody was out of ideas for making a picture with mineimator, they could start a topic in this new section, name it something like: "Picture ideas plz" etc and then people can comment down ideas that the author of the topic could do! Give ideas for scenery of it, ideas if they could use a rig to make the idea possible, endless! Out of ideas, ask for ideas. This new section would help organize this into one easy area where people who comment can go to give these authors some ideas!
  25. What Mine-Imator should include The software should add these things if possible! Create own mob or block Create a running animation just like walking but running. Create a jumping animation like walking feat. Create times to be different in the scenery. (Change to day to night in 3 sec, etc.) Change skin in the timeline Change the ground to a different material. (instead of grass, sand etc.) Add new pre-set schematics Add fingers...? Add new folder called "Custom Items" (like a spoon, bottle, etc.) More soon! But I hope to see these in the new update!
