  1. So recently i just heard that mine-imator is coming out in about a month, and i feel like mine-imator needs more, just some small touches, and here is two of my ideas First Idea: Repeat mode So how dose repeat mode work ?, well have you ever wanted someone to just blink repeatedly so you don't need to edit his eyes to blink every time, well with Repeat mode you can chose something or someone to reapeat something like if you want someone to go in circles then you first make the animation and then you press repeat mode and chose what you want to repeat and how long you want it to repeat, let say if you want him to go in circles in 10 seconds, then you chose that, and when the repeat ends, you can start adding new animation to it, and this can be very helpful for repeating a certain body part, when they gets their own keyframe. Second idea: Breath mode and Shake mode well, not many animation programs have this, if you watch like Slamacow, most of the thing dosen't breath, like there body dosen't scale when breathing (maybe sometimes) but what if we had it, it would be so helpful to make something realistic or alive, and also you can chose how strong his breath and how fast it is, and i hade a idea for shake mode where the mode just shakes, like if someone is scared or if it's cold, you can just put it on shake mode and you can decide how fast he shakes and how strongly he shakes.. hopeful you see this David. Just something i had in mind. Made by TheRubinrux (obviously) ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ
  2. I've tried it and it would look like this: and just ask him to fix the bend like this: (it's very similar to the original) well ... as always I leave in the opinion of The Glorious David.
  3. I'm certain that this has been added into 1.0.0 already, but in the unlikely event that it hasn't, here it is. turn It has nothing to do with the animation, just with the interface. In the settings where you can change the color of the interface, if you change it to a dark color, then the text stays dark. Since I'm used to using Flash CC, I'm familiar with the dark interface it has and would prefer that over a light one. I'm sure you're well seasoned with Flash, looking at your YouTube channel. AFAIK, your new color picker already displays the brightness value, so perhaps you could test if the interface color is below ~126 or something and, if so, change the font display to a white alternate.
  4. I was recently taking a look at the particle system. Because of my monitor's small resolution screen, I couldn't even read all the options in the particles sidebar in the video. I thought of something which I assume would be relatively easy to implement, maybe two hours worth of GM work. You should be able to export a particle preset. This would be pretty simple. Rather than creating a new format, one could simply use the JSON format (incidentally also used by Mojang for internal Minecraft storage). Since I couldn't read any of the options (as stated above) I had to make some qualities up, but here's an example of what the JSON could look like. { "name": "Pig Cannon", "type": "3d", "appearance": [ { "type": "Character", "model": "Pig" } ], "direction": [ { "use": true, "randomise": 0.1, "x": 0.8, "y": 0.06, "z": 0 } ], "velocity": [ { "use": true, "randomise": 0, "x": 1, "y": 0.8, "z": 0 } ], "rotation": [ { "use": true, "randomise": 0.2, "x": 0.8, "y": 0.06, "z": 0 } ], } Also, there are existing GMS functions used for encoding and decoding JSON. However, although I do code, I don't really work with GM, so I'm unsure if this is relevant. To simplify editing of the particle JSON format, you could use YAML instead, which is a less sytaxically strict version of the exact same thing. (The YAML format is used by Bukkit.) Unfortunately, I couldn't actually find any GMS functions for converting YAML to JSON. Here is the above example converted to YAML. Notice the added readability name: Pig Cannon type: 3d appearance: type: Character model: Pig direction: use: true randomise: 0.1 x: 0.8 y: 0.06 z: 0 velocity: use: true randomise: 0 x: 1 y: 0.8 z: 0 rotation: use: true randomise: 0.2 x: 0.8 y: 0.06 z: 0 I used a 3D pig, because I'm too lazy to use a 2D particle. ^^; A 2D particle would have far more properties in the "appearance" array, such as "type", "color1", "color2", and others (from what I saw in the video.)
  5. Is Mine-Imator 1.0.0 really coming out April? or is David doing April fools? Please Answer!
  6. I've seen pictures of Mine-Imator 1.0.0 of the "The Glorious David". and I noticed that the Birch Tree has a different texture (not equal to minecraft) you just have to differentiate: Other Image Other Image also, in the test of Colors of Biome , the color of the leaves of this tree is not displayed.
  7. I have a quick question about the blurring in 1.0.0. Will blurring be automatic, or will you have to select the block/item/schematic and set its blurring level? Epic Pic btw.
  8. Introducing tditdatdwt's Creeper Rig (0.1) ! Is it a bird.. is it a plane..? No you fool! It's a damn creeper now get it or gtfo! Features of this creature are.. movable pupils, movable eyelids and a nice 3D look in the mouth and the eyes. You.. yes you! can get this creature right now for the low low price of 99K$! Even you.. yes you! 0.7 DEMO "noobs" can have it! If you somehow aren't sure how to use this.. - Click on one of the pupils, or select them from the timeline and just move them around to wherever you want. As for the eyelids, you might not be able to click on them.. so just select them from the timeline and move them up/down (note: you will have to stretch them out just a bit so they fill the eye in, they will still look right and not stretched so don't worry about that). As for the "nice 3D look" just don't mess with any of the files in the timeline with strange names. - Now with that out of the way you can proceed to the download! Leave a like if you.. like. ^^^^^ DOWNLOAD! Old topic:
  9. So I has been thinking for ideas that David could add or may have already added in 1.0.0. The option to choose what emits shadows. Say a facial rig, and you don't want a shadow is the eye. Don't know if it's possible (With the new engine and all that) but the ability to make things like whips (I know you could do this with a bunch of objects parented together) The ability to put text on signs (probably been asked 100 times) Thats all the ideas I have for now, Thanks for reading!
