    Long hair is always in motion because of various factors like wind and self idle movement. It is never truly static. So Instead of using the "hat" layer of Minecraft skins for the hair, I placed each hair strand by hand on the scalp of the head. This means that all 150+ hair strands can be animated, even the ones that don't seem to be moving.ย
