Being autistic and finally getting out into the "real world," I've realized something that I should have realized years ago.

I'm not the one with "communication problems." Neurotypicals are the ones with communication problems. (Roughly quoted from some dude on tumblr)

If I want something to happen, I say it outright. But when it comes to 99% of the neurotypical people I know, if they want something to happen, they will say something vaguely related in the most obtuse way possible, expect me, a person who takes things literally by nature, to understand what they want me to do, and then get mad at me when I don't do it.

I have just realized that a bad interaction I had with one of my teachers, who I actually liked and respected, happened exactly because of this. And what I should have said to them at the time was this: if you don't understand or are unwilling to understand how I take in information, you have no right to be placed in charge of teaching me.

Made a quick 'n' dirty Spiderverse-esque stylized shader in Blender Cycles

Working on a story at the moment that aims to combine urban fantasy and Lovecraftian horror. Just finished designing the main antagonist, not sure what its name is yet.

We've had (are still having) a pandemic. Now, Elon Musk is making mind control and an army of robots, Mark Zuckerberg is making IOI and Skynet, and there's a "zombie deer disease" that apparently might be able to spread to humans. Also humanity is just generally continuing to degrade, as usual. Isn't 2022 great? (And we're only in January!)

Today's my birthday! : D

In an attempt to make myself seem more popular than I am, and therefore become more popular, I insert myself into the posts of every single high-ranking member of this community despite the fact that I know I will never be worthy of their notice. Instead of creating quality content so that I may be judged by my own merit, I shall simply procrastinate all my problems away, forever sinking deeper into the bottomless pit of mediocrity.

Just finished Deltarune chapter 2.

If the other chapters manage to be as good or better than this...

I don't even know, that's just about as close to perfection in a game as I can imagine.

Today I got a display tablet I ordered! Can't wait to start drawing with it, but at the moment it's 10:44 PM where I live and I need to go to bed.

Just finished my first day working at Chick-Fil-A, this is my first job! 

Yesterday I bought Celeste. Today I finished playing it. (The main part of the game, at least.) Hardest game I've ever played. My death count was over 4,000.

But that music though...

(the experimental snapshot for today was really fun. I spent like ten minutes repeatedly going from build height to -64 y, and half of those minutes were the time it took me to fall.)

I just spent a day and a night and most of this morning rendering an animation in blender. My stupid low-end laptop can't do more than one frame every two minutes. The animation itself was about a minute long and at 720p. The final result came out, and it had been compressed into oblivion, wasting an entire 24 hours of work at least. I absolutely loathe life right now.

I have this one Deltarune save file that's saved at Jevil's boss fight, and every time I beat him I quit without saving, so I can just repeatedly fight Jevil until I master it.

I shouldn't have looked at r/watchredditdie. I browse reddit for entertainment, all that did was cause me to lose my faith in humanity even more.

This is amazing! Everything looks so clean and consistent! And apparently I'm going to be using the dark theme for approximately forever.
