A lot of Vietnam roleplay going around, but...
ummmm my grandpa fought in the Vietnam war. I know this is just roleplay, but he's described the horrors to me, (since he was also shot 4 times at once, which made it worse) and believe me, that place was hell. He couldn't walk 5 feet without a Vietcong jumping out and shooting someone next to him. It took a decent sized skirmish for him to get shot, and when he did, a comrad picked him up and carried him 3 miles, while my grandpa shot at the Vietcong who were chasing them. I don't like to spoil stuff, but I take this to heart. So it may be fun and games for you, but it really isn't a joke.
Sorry for ruining it for anyone.

Nah we get it. Also interesting story because I also have one too.
My neighbor was also a VN war veteran and one time he and his troops were heading down to Saigon. On the way, they came across a small village, where children were playing. When the children saw the soldiers, some ran away to their home screaming, others back inside the school, and others backing away. However, one small child, he said she liked to be around 5 or 6, just broke down sobbing and wouldn’t move, as if the soldiers were evil or something, and that she didn’t want to die to an American soldier. My neighbor said that that still gives him the chills.
I don’t mind the role play too much, but if it goes into extreme recreations of inaccurate battles then no.
