Wow, a lot has happened today, what started as a joke sparked a topic about bringing actual porn to this minecraft animation forum and someone making a generic status about leaving because they can't STAND the fact that some people like cracking a certain joke.
Though I'm sure the root is just "Ethan is being mean and toxic again

i'm thinking of an animation group channel where the owner uploads his members' animation with permission, idk what is that type of youtube channel called, the only youtube channel i've known with that type is Black Plasma Studio

That's pretty much what an animation team does. I'm not sure if ZAMinations does this but since there are 2(?) members in that they probably both do their own animations. In theory it's a good idea because smaller animators can get views that they wouldn't normally get in their own channels, but if nobody in the team is good at animating then odds are it won't work very well.

I think that the existence of Mine Imator has made it easier for Minecraft animation enthusiast to make their own animation. Shame that MI users is not as many as other program users (Blender, C4D, Maya). Imagine if this animation program grow bigger to the point where people actually seriously want to create a real animation (such as story, one that give a meaning) rather than just a short, test animation. ( like mine lol)
What I mean is by the narrative one, like SKIBBZ made. He have made a lot of masterly animation with proper scripts, arrangement of story and meaning to the animation. What if we have more people like SKIBBZ? Imagine how advanced this community will be! Mine Imator will rise! More people will know about it! We could get to see many more epic animation! Childrens like it, the adults like it! Everyone will like it. But we don't need CHANGES. It is US who need to change.. We can't hope that other will do it. WE have to do it. Together, in this community.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea to try and get more narrative stuff out of the community, but it would take people to get some patience to watch an animation through and not nit-pick everything about it. If someone wanted to fix all the clipping, they would've. It's not like they say "oh clipping looks cool". Sometimes you just don't want to fix it, or can't fix it. If someone could fix a lighting glitch, they would've. Sometimes after working on something for months, you kinda run out of steam and don't want to fix the things only the nitpickers would point out.

I mean, I've been saying this ever since I joined. And I've tried believe me, but most people don't really care about narrative stuff here anymore. Most of the time tests get more upvotes and attention than full-length animations. They would rather see 12 seconds of really good random animation, instead of 4 minutes of decent animation with a story. Plus most people here don't have the patience to make anything that long. I really want to make something narrative, but I know in the end it won't do well, which is discouraging. That's my take at least.

For the minepets character, due to the cubey nature of the snouts/mouths, its hard to tell the expressions at times because theres basically no smiles or frowns with em, Do you think theres any other ways to use the snouts? Perhaps add some bending mechanics?
