Finally, a WIP after so long

But so do police lives.
It seems to me like many of these supposed "anti-bigotry" movements, as good as their intentions may be, tend to act as an excuse for a lot of people to just point their bigotry in a different direction. It's not getting rid of it, it's just distracting from it by saying it's for a good cause.
And at the moment, the BLM movement is basically saying that all police are evil, racist, horrible people and they should be gotten rid of. That's just as ridiculous as saying that someone is inferior because of the color of their skin. These people are just trying to do their jobs. And all this supposed "police violence?" What the media isn't telling you is that the protesters are the ones being violent, and forcing the law enforcement to respond. Yes, people have a right to protest. To protest. Not to form an angry mob, going around vandalizing things and hurting innocent people. 
Alright, my rant is over. You can go look at other stuff now XD

So let me get this straight: being sarcastic about "violent protesters" is acceptable, but one sarcastic statement about "bootlickers" isn't? Honestly, think. 
 
Personally, I think it would be nice if we could have a civil discussion here, but that can't happen with so many immature responses and a torrent of downvotes. I swear, a lot of you devolve into "out of this house" mode when you see something you disagree with. And yet, these are the response that get upvoted, while the mature replies are apparently the root of all evil. 
 
To tell the truth, I'm disappointed in all of you. I used to hold some of you in high regard, but I sadly can't say I do anymore.

Just to be clear, I was being sarcastic. Support who you want, dont let people put you down for it. 

Remember kids, supporting police is wrong and no matter what you say you'll always be a filthy bootlicker. 

Funny how there was all of this "Russia" stuff with the election when Trump won in 2016, which I guess was acceptable apparently. But now that Biden "won," election fraud is completely inconceivable, entirely impossible, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

Ugh. People are completely misinterpreting what the President said.

He said, quote , "...Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life...".
People are taking this to mean ignor the virus, it won't kill you.

That's not at all what he meant. I can't believe people don't get it.

He was being encouraging. Uplifting. Giving a message of hope.

He went on later to elaborate saying, "Don't be afraid of covid. You can beat this. You're going to beat this. We have the best doctors, equipment and treatment." Thats a quote-ish thing, here's the full video.

Sorta like what doctors call bedside manner.

I mean, imagine you're in the hospital with the virus and scared to death. Then the leader of your country tells you you're going to be fine. Saying he's had it, and he beat it and you will too.
Obviously he has no way to know someone's condition, or whether or not they'll live, but that's a pretty good message. At least something better to think about than despair.

At least, that's how I saw it.
