Well it's going, alright. Lately, things have been odd, but I'm surviving. I wish I could post more here, but I just don't have the motivation to do much of anything lately. I should at least post a dump of the stuff I have done since I last posted, though.

Feels neutral to me, but most names could easily go either way anyway

Fair, maybe it's more the whole suit and tie outfit. Still tho, I can't think of another outfit that would be more neutral but still recognizable or fit any sort of dynamic, I'm probably better off rebranding.

I haven't had the motivation to make a render in almost 11 months...

I still had motivation to make renders and almost none of them were good(still learning how to make a epic renders)

The first one was actually themed around a bit he had earlier in the season during the phantom hunting event, he dressed up as one and started messing with people, calling himself "The Phantom Menace."

I think its just context, some packs have nice aesthetics, it depends on what you want.

It's likely because Minecraft is and always has been low-res; it allows your imagination to create the detail, and everyone will interpret them a little differently.
For example, Creepers may look evil and scary to some, but look unintimidating and cute to others (me ;~;).

That's why I don't like the higher-res packs; they just make everything uncomfortably detailed and force a specific style onto you with no way to interpret it differently. Mobs that looked cute or cool in your eyes now look god-awful or really ugly, mainly because it's no longer your interpretation you can see; it's theirs.

i mean i find 128x128 fine.It fits the mc style and does not look to over done.but stuff over that is just ehhh.Like it does not look good and the high pixel count compared to the basic shape kind of ruins the looks of things.

I think he used programs such as GCFScape and VTFEdit to convert the vtf (texture files on source engine) to PNG/TGA files

@Cubic Ralsei Spot on my friend. The annoying thing is that I couldn't use any textures other than the cores' eye textures because all the other ones were laid out in a way that wouldn't map right to a sphere.

What i do for glowing textures is simply copy paste the entire texture on an empty image in paint.net then save it as a TGA, and make a separate file too with "_emissive" on the end

Nvm, I looked it up and apparently it's a glitch with servers not having enough memory to store all the IP addresses of the routers people use to connect to their services, so now it's overflowing and causing issues so everybody has to update their servers to add a new, higher limit on the storage for IP addresses.

What does that even mean? 

Your router's IP address is what lets a server find your wi-fi network and send you information to run whatever service they're giving you, like Discord or a game server. The servers need to store that address so that they know how to find your network if they need to send you information at any given time. The problem is that the servers for a lot of big companies don't have enough space to store all the IP addresses that they need to hold on to, which means they have to delete some of them, causing problems for the people attached to those addresses. I'm pretty sure most of these services have only gone down because they need to update their servers to give them more memory for storing IP addresses, which would fix the issue.
