@JjCinemas Just going to clarify; missing someone is perfectly understandable, that's not what I have a problem with here.
What I do have a problem with is when they say things like "he was the reason the server was alive" and that the forums is "a wasteland full of junk" without this one person.
Don't you think that's a little insulting to everyone else who is also "keeping the forum alive" by posting their creations here every single day? Do they not matter?

And without this dude that I, LITERALLY JUST heard of yesterday because of this stuff?--.. The forums, filled with creations people put effort into, is a Wasteland?? Because of this one person who decided to take a little break.

I get the forums kinda suck sometimes, People aren't exactly kind to underdogs and new users, And those people are why I went mostly inactive aside from sharing rigs and occasional render dumps.

But I don't understand how some guy a few people knows from Malaysia was the single, lone reason that this place is active. Maybe i'll be proven wrong, Maybe the forums will die while hes gone, I have 0 clue whats next, But I'm pretty sure saying the forums is a Wasteland full of "junk" that is people's hard work and effort, Is just over-reacting.

The thing that those critics don't understand is that those that they criticize based on their renders being bad or models being bad or anything else being bad is that they are their elders from program skill. And yet those people are too immature to understand that because they are insecure as hell.
i understand im going ballistic right now cause of this but im pretty sure this tends to happen to people with the same experience as me at a younger time.

Agreed, I've been in/am in groups and seen firsthand that they're filled with people from the forums that do that, And I really don't like it tbh, Because either these underdogs or new users don't make particularly good renders, Or they do, But They all still have potential.

But ofc, The elitists come along and talk up a storm about how "X user used mixels and noise on their texture! It looks terrible, They should give up.", Or "Y user uses point lights instead of spot lights! They should know better, Its so performance heavy.", Or "Z user's rig looks like the ice age baby! They should quit the program and let the professionals do it!", Like they don't know any better, You have to teach them with respect these things, Or they'll take it less as criticism, And more as an insult to their work.

I honestly thought it was just stable as is, i had no good vibes whenever lacamendry
but we are still chill but not the type about them keeping the forum alive, i just thought he was another forum user.

imo minecraft updates has gotten more and more conservatives over the years partly due to its massive varieties of players , the upside of having small inconsequential updates means less people will be upset at the update, but the downside is that the updates will become inevitably lame and uncreative, which I think is slowly killing the game. like the newest glow berries... seriously? it acts the same as a normal berries when you eat them and doesn't even give you any cool effects. its been a few years since the aquatic update, during that period the only feature I think is some how "game changing" is the ability to swim, big caves and villager trades, everything else is not really game changing. I really hope future updates will focus on adding more bosses which tweaks the fundamental "goal" of the game, to give player a challenge after they have a full suit of netherite. 

It got a much-needed makeover.
Good thing is now we finally have a dark theme, bad thing is that text editing is a lot more limited now.

imo Mojang have really over-exaggerated the quantity of features the Caves & Cliffs update adds; the amount is considerably less than some of the previous updates.
It's completely understandable that they're aiming for quality over quantity... but that kind-of falls apart when what little stuff they do add isn't the best quality either; Copper and Amethyst are both still completely useless to anyone who isn't a dedicated builder, and from what I've seen Axolotls' movements and behaviour are still buggy as hell (they still try to pathfind through lava despite it being listed as a fixed bug lol).

@__Mine__ The shield badge is for mods, the hand badge (which is meant to be a waving sign) is for members who have recently joined.
I also plan on giving specific user groups special colors and icons (kind of what's being done currently), like so:

It's actually fairly easy to disable or just customize. In the new theme, I've repositioned them next to the member's name and I swapped the icons.
