imo minecraft updates has gotten more and more conservatives over the years partly due to its massive varieties of players , the upside of having small inconsequential updates means less people will be upset at the update, but the downside is that the updates will become inevitably lame and uncreative, which I think is slowly killing the game. like the newest glow berries... seriously? it acts the same as a normal berries when you eat them and doesn't even give you any cool effects. its been a few years since the aquatic update, during that period the only feature I think is some how "game changing" is the ability to swim, big caves and villager trades, everything else is not really game changing. I really hope future updates will focus on adding more bosses which tweaks the fundamental "goal" of the game, to give player a challenge after they have a full suit of netherite.

TheCollieStalks got a reaction from Jake_28 in saw this on a post, is it a new logo or just an export icon?. if it's a new logo, it
the reason why I downvoted its because I simply don't like that design. statistically speaking, what is the number of people that likes the new icon compared to the old one? if there is more dislikes, the answer seems simple, don't change it. but I understand your reasoning, a simpler icon would certainly be easier to see, but if people are going to dislike the design, no matter how easy it is to see it is not an improvement. do you agree?

You need to learn the difference between an icon and a logo, then. This is the new logo, which has been sitting in our signatures for a while now:

The filmstrip icon is... just an icon. Who cares? It's just gonna sit in your taskbar or show up as a favicon, and for that purpose, I think it represents 'animation' a looot better than the blurry mess the current icon turns into if you shrink it down, even if isn't as Minecraft-y as the previous one.

Also, saying it's "not appealing" is just a matter of taste. Personally, I find the new icons much more pleasant to look at than ones you can't even properly read unless they're 100px tall.

Look for some inspiration through google images or Pexels. This website is just free large resolution photographs and I use it to quickly search something and see what professionals have done. Also, one of my favorite things to do is to imagine a character or item in a situation where it would otherwise not be. A quick example off the top of my head is a cow underwater or a slime with an elytra idk. Hope this helps a bit
