Though, in all honesty, Mojang really should make it drop netherite scrap or something. It seems kinda pointless to smelt it only to have to make the netherite bar on a crafting table.

@Draco63 Netherite being affected by Fortune is a very bad idea imo, considering only one ingot is required for each tool/armour piece.
With Fortune III, you could potentially get an ingot's worth of material from just one block of Ancient Debris, and on average every two blocks would make an ingot.

If this became a thing, people would be getting full Netherite armour in like 10-15 minutes or less.
