Haven't people been saying it's mod when they introduced pistons? If they don't add more interesting features, the community will die down like it did around 1.7 to 1.13
 
You could always just dig down and get full diamond armour in less than an hour.
Also, villagers are working just as RNG as getting diamonds in Minecraft, sure you might get mending enchantment first try, but you still need ton of emeralds to get it, and a ton of XP to use it. 
If you think the game is too easy can't you just ramp of the difficulty level? I believe Mojang is working on the combat to improve it, if they think you need better armour who knows what mobs they are adding next. I do agree it is easy right now, with hard mode not offering many other challenges other than mobs doing more damage.
 
Not to mention if you don't want these new features, you can just play an older version of the game.

That's not at all what I meant. He can disagree with everyone here, but saying "I'm gonna live in my hole" is like playing the victim card. We were all only pointing out why we feel differently, which happens many times during Socratic debates not unlike this one. 
If someone here invalidates your opinion by saying something like "you make creeper rigs, your voice doesn't count" then I would have a problem. But nobody has said anything like that above, so I see no reason to shrink back and avoid voicing your opinion. In arguments like these, you should seek to gain knowledge and maybe even comradery from it, not just trying to prove that your opinion is the one and only.

Hey man I'm all for voicing opinions, but when people politely disagree with you you shouldn't act all dramatic like that. Not everyone has to fuzzy up to you and agree with you on everything, but nobody should verbally harass you either. I don't see anyone in the above comments verbally harassing you, so reacting like that just makes you look selfish. No offense.

Also I agree, I like the new Netherite armor because it gives me more reason to go to the nether, and takes more time to find. I could find diamond within half an hour of starting my own world up. The new blocks and everything also open up so many more creative building and computing opportunities, which I'm excited to see be put to use.

current minecraft: can spam click but not as fast as before and damage isn't high unless fully charged
new minecraft: can't attack unless fully charged

that was just an adjustement by mojang to make it not hard for players to see when spawning in that no air place. there's still shadows though.

The Showcase accepts renders too, just make a good render instead.
I know from personal experience that's much easier said than done... but if you put a lot of effort into it, you could make something great!
