  1. Minecraft does not use voxels to model blocks, entities, or items. The only way you can relate Minecraft to voxels is the shape of the blocks used to make it up. Minecraft is not a voxel game.
  2. This just doesn't fit with minecraft. Minecraft isn't a voxel game, and this pie model is very voxelized and has a high surface count. It just doesn't match anything. Here's a good reference to go off of when it comes to modeling round objects.
  3. I'd suggest making it square.
  4. Do you have blocky bending enabled?
  5. This was fun to read, but I think it's time to intervene. I always try to take a step back and understand both sides of the argument. I definitely understand both points of view. On one hand, I agree with the others. The model itself is a bit uncanny and odd to look at, and the textures are objectively bad compared to something like vanilla Minecraft's textures, but this doesn't mean he has to listen to you. In the end, he can do what he wants. All we can do is give our opinions, and he can choose for himself if he wants to take them into consideration. People got defensive and aggressive on both sides, so there's no need to point fingers. How about we don't let this happen a third time?
  6. There is a subforum named "requests" although they posted in modelbench creations for whatever reason. Almost no requests are actually fulfilled. Usually the comments are full of people new to the forums telling them to model it themselves. Anyways, you didn't give us nearly enough information. If you have a specific character in mind, you need to tell us in as much detail as possible. We can't read your mind.
  7. Alright, here's some of my criticism. The lighting is very flat, and it feels as if everything in the scene is illuminated. The areas inside the bookshelves should be pretty dark. You should try experimenting with the ambient color for some darker shadows. It will also highlight the sun rays even more, giving a more warm and cozy feel. Now that I look at it, I don't exactly see any shadows besides the one being cast on the floor from the sunlight. Some dust particles would look great in the light rays. They're pretty easy and simple to set up.

    Zoomed Out!

You're unable to change the UI size. I heard something about your screen's resolution affecting this, but it may be false.
  9. I was answering a question in the comments.
  10. You can manually browse for worlds using the importer and double click on the level.dat to open it.

  13. We don't know yet how the fog will interact with transparent surfaces. This is a good question for the QnA in a few days.
  14. This global illumination looks outstanding. Amazing work, Nimi.
  15. You can't see foxy because it's extremely dark. I don't know why you don't just add lighting.
