  1. (Left - Nautilus, opened with Zenity) (Right - Whatever the hell Mine-Imator is using) On Linux, it's common to see Nautilus as the preferred file picker in software and apps. I would like Mine-Imator to use this on Linux.
  2. You should be able to change it in Mine-Imator using the "Environment" section of the project setting.
  3. I remember when Mine-Imator Community Edition was quite active. I also remember running it quite smoothly on Linux with Wine. With software like Wine and Proton these days, attempting to run Windows software on Linux has improved a ton since then. As for macOS....idk
  4. When rendering at 1080p Cinematic or above, the image will be corrupted.
  5. I will admit, in Pre-Release 5, some things have gotten a little heavy on the GPU. I wasn't able to run the program yet, because I haven't install NVIDIA drivers yet on my fresh Linux install. Of course, things work mostly smooth now with NVIDIA drivers installed. But rendering time is much longer now and more heavy on my GPU with the lighting system being overhauled among other things as well like reflections being added. Mine-Imator 2.0 is an insane overhaul and really is aiming in the right direction.
  6. Thanks man! Been trying to figure out for like 30 minutes.
  7. They've replaced Brightness with Emission, it's a more technical term for brightness and commonly used in 3D software like Blender and etc. This is a good move.
  8. Holy moly my NVIDIA RTX can't handle this epic update. Rendering at 1080p Cinematic caused a corrupted image...then again this is pre-release but dang bro I've noticed when rendering, the extension of the file's name is not set by default. So, simply rename the file with the extension added. You may need to enable "File Extension" in the View setting of your File Explorer to do this. As an example, if the video file is exported as "video", simply rename it to "video.mp4".
  9. It's working great on Linux! Thanks guys!
  10. Looks like something happened the the ground texture. You can easily change the ground texture by changing it in the "Project Properties" tab, usually on the right-side of the window > Backgroun > Ground. Then next to the "Ground" text, there should be a button labeled as "Change".

  12. This render was created sometime back in late 2020, for Korbscraft's help page on it's website. (View Archive)
  13. Sounds like Linux support is finally coming I use Fedora, the distro has been getting more popular this year. Maybe you should aim towards providing either a AppImage file or putting it on Flathub to easily support all distros. Or y'know provide DEB and RPM anyway, that's up to you.
