I'm still waiting for Mojang to announce that Minecraft Bedrock will be enhanced for Xbox Series X and PS5 at launch.

I mean, I have no doubt whatsoever that they will have a (hopefully)free upgraded version eventually with enhanced performance, or in the case of an upgrade from XB1, just performance in general, 512 chunks of render distance and the ray-tracing beta.

I say 512 chunks of render distance because of the new Render-Dragon update which greatly increases performance and render distance. My pc went from having 54 chunks to 128. XSX and PS5 could 1400 chunks for all I know.

I bought an Oculus Quest 2.

Yay me.

I think ima have to upgrade my VR headset.

Oculus Quest 2 comes out soon(tomorrow i think).

Its better than my current one in every way.

Plus you can play wireless on some things but can also be used on pc. And Windows Mixed Reality is garbage.

Ugh. People are completely misinterpreting what the President said.

He said, quote , "...Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life...".
People are taking this to mean ignor the virus, it won't kill you.

That's not at all what he meant. I can't believe people don't get it.

He was being encouraging. Uplifting. Giving a message of hope.

He went on later to elaborate saying, "Don't be afraid of covid. You can beat this. You're going to beat this. We have the best doctors, equipment and treatment." Thats a quote-ish thing, here's the full video.

Sorta like what doctors call bedside manner.

I mean, imagine you're in the hospital with the virus and scared to death. Then the leader of your country tells you you're going to be fine. Saying he's had it, and he beat it and you will too.
Obviously he has no way to know someone's condition, or whether or not they'll live, but that's a pretty good message. At least something better to think about than despair.

At least, that's how I saw it.

Know what's funny? Glow squid will glow on Bedrock.

They won't emit light like glowstone but they will be brighter than the area around them. Blazes already work this way on Bedrock.

Bedrock has all these render options for resource packs.

You could make a cow glow with a resource pack if you wanted.

This update...I have no words...I'm in awe.

All I can really say is, they've done it right. I saw the new cave generation, and that is exactly what I always wanted. The features in this update are all incredible and unique. 

I love it, and I can't wait for this update.

I mean, I was excited for the Nether Update, but thats got nothing on this.

Toxic Playstation Players: "Xbox doesn't have any good exclusives and is therefore inferior"

Xbox: Buys several popular franchises and makes them exclusive.

To be clear, I'm not hating on Playstation. I'm pointing out what the toxic fan base is acting like. Both consoles are excellent and each have their benefits.

I've always preferred Xbox, but in fact I plan to purchase a Playstation5 next year(for some exclusives, actually) which would be the first Playstation I've ever owned.

But the Xbox Series X will remain my main platform.

I just realized that the music in Jedi: Fallen Order is really, really good.

Why did never listen to this before.

Samuel L. Jackson will reportedly be returning to play Nick Fury in a new Disney+ series!! 

I rate the hype for this Disney+ exclusive right up there with the Obi-Wan series.

I don't know if there's any other fans of the animated Star Wars shows(I am, only as of August lol) but I want to share my opinions on Rebels and what i'd want out if a Rebels sequel show.

First of all, Star Wars Rebels was pretty good, but it didn't have anywhere near the quality and heart The Clone Wars had. I mean in terms of characters, story, even animation style.

I really liked it once I finished season 4. The first 3 season were nothing special to me. I loved season 4 mosty because of Kanan's death. That was one of the most well done deaths I've seen. Plus, they finally touched on Kanan and Hera's relationship. They established it in season 1 but you practically never hear about it again. 

And in a sequel show, I think they should make Sabine Force-sensitive. You might think, oh another Force sensitive, how original. But honestly, Ezra is really, really generic, not very original. Sabine is a Mandalorian. We only know of one Mandalorian Jedi, the creator of the Darksaber.

As for an explanation for how no one sensed she's strong with the Force, I'd say that Kanan did know, but he also sensed that he was not the teacher for her.

Another possibility would be that she was subconsciously suppressing it inside her, with the guilt from her past and whatnot.

And about Ezra being generic, I mean seriously. He's just another Luke or Rey type character. Young Force prodigy.

I was really excited at the end of season 2 when it looked like he was going Dark Side. It would've been a very interesting and sad character development. 

You may hate it, but in a sequel series I'd have Ezra turn to the Dark Side. 

The Dark Side is corrosive. He used it a little in seasons 2 and 3 and it appeared that he was cleansed of it. But little by little over the years, it would take a strong hold on him. 

I'd go as far to say that he even learns of Palpatine's survival. The idea is that when the Emperor tempted him in season 4 with his parents he was able to resist. But the idea stuck with him.

He wonders if its possible with the power of the Dark Side.

He communicates with the Emperor(or rather, the Emperor communicates with him) through the Force.

He learns of Palpatine's clone on Exegol because he allows Ezra to. He wants Ezra for the same reason he wants Rey and Ben.

And of course Palps does what he does. He lies and offers to give Ezra what he wants, while really serving his own purposes. He gives him the same choice, to be with his family, and its a lot more credible to Ezra since Palpatine was able to come back from the dead.

Eventually, is ready to do whatever the Emperor wants. And that's when Force ghost Kanan shows up. He helps Ezra to kinda sort emotions from reality, and to see what's he'd sacrifice if he gave in to the Dark Side(everything and everyone he ever loved, obviously).

And...Ezra dies. When Palpatine's lies and temptations fail he can't have anyone know of his existence. So he force chokes him from a distance or something.

To be clear, all of this with Ezra would be at the very end of the series. You'd see little hints here and there that something isn't right with him, but nowhere near the depth of the darkness within him.

Anyway, my ideas are definitely lacking in details. Like, just for example not important, a plot. Basically, I just want to see Sabine trained in the Force and Ezra be tragically consumed by the Dark Side.

My ideas would make for a very sad and emotional story, which the first 3 season were severely lacking in.

Oh, also Sabine and Ezra would be together, since they were very much leading towards that in Rebels.

To clarify his descent into Darkness, this show would happen at least 7 or so years after the Battle of Endor. Sabine and Ahsoka search for a good long while. Ezra doesn't just suddenly become consumed in evil and hate. It happens extremely slowly, and gets to point where there's barely anything left of who Ezra is by the end of it, in a very similar fashion to Anakins fall.

I'm not Dave Filoni, so if there is a sequel show it probably wouldn't be anything like what id do. But I trust Filoni. The guy is brilliant. The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian. He never disappoints.

Yikes. Xbox Series X/S pre-orders are a disaster as well.  

For different reasons than Playstation I think.

I was never planning to pre-order, I'll hope there's still one available in November and buy it. Or I'll just wait until they restock.

I added an Xbox Series X to Minecraft Bedrock.

It's not an entity, as it would have had to be in previous versions. It's an actual block, with it's own model, hitbox, and collision.

You shift-click to put it on it's side.

The model isn't all that detailed, but I'm happy with it.

I am loving all this new block functionality they've added. I could've kinda made this before, but it would've needed the script engine. 

This block is done all from a json file.

I was quite surprised that they added the ability to add your own block properties in the first update with this.

At last...

They've finally added custom block models to Bedrock. Actually, what they called a 'first pass' at a new data driven block system.

Its a start.

This update also adds the capability to have a custom crafting block, currently limited to the 3x3 crafting grid.

And s whole bunch of other new add on features I dont understand without reading more.

I kinda feel bad for the people who tried to pre-order a PS5.

If I understand correctly, people were getting emails promising that they would get a PS5, when in reality they would not.

That must really suck. Especially since it was already known that PS5 supply would be quite limited, so the only way you were going to purchase on day one is to pre order.

After Xbox Series X/S were revealed, it seem Sony rushed to match the price(reportedly PS5 was originally higher), and one-up them by having pre-orders first. 

Sony's haste to 'beat' Xbox caused them to cut corners and the result was million of players had their hope of having a PS5 this holiday ripped away.

Ps5 price will apparently be revealed this Wednesday, the 16'th.

Supposedly, after the Xbox price reveal they changed the ps5 price since it was 'considerably higher'.

It would be hilarious if they priced Ps5 at $498.99

I'm definitely planning to pick up an Xbox Series X this November now that they officially revealed the $499 price.

Last night the Xbox Series S design was leaked with a $299 price tag. Today Xbox has confirmed this.

In the same leak, the Xbox Series X price was revealed to be $499, although Xbox did not confirm this one. 

I think its fair to assume it will be $499.

I hope so anyway.
