Am I the only one here who has been anticipating this game?
I guess it being delayed is better than it being released before it's ready. When that happens, it takes forever to get it working and running well. *ahem* bedrock xbox one *ahem*

There's a little trailer for The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki shown at the super bowl.
Literally all I care about, I don't watch football.
Makes me excited for all of them. Loki most of all. Just..because Loki is the best.

"In the recent 1.13 pre release, bark blocks were changed so that they had a “top” texture. However, this does go against the reason builders wanted a block with the same bark textures on all sides. With the standard logs, the block is hard to use for builds because you have the top texture that breaks up uniform surfaces, forcing to find ways to hide it. Giving the bark block another texture just brings us back to square one.
While I appreciate Mojang’s efforts and while I think the textures are nice and would have places as different blocks, this was a change nobody needed and the Bark Blocks would have more use and utility with their old textures."
This was from reddit. I totally agree. The bark block top textures look great, especially jungle, but, not for bark block.

"Donald Trump plays Minecraft"
An epic tale, by me.
This is best read if you're familiar with his speech pattern.
So this is the game I've heard so much about. I know all about Minecraft, I've spoken with the best players in the country, great people, they're great people. But quite frankly, not very smart.
Can you believe this, they said to me, "Mr.President sir, with all due respect we could out-Minecraft you any day".
I said to them, "Excuse me, no. You're wrong. I have many, many friends who play Minecraft, and they told me all the things."
So you wonder what we're doing, you ask me what we're doing here, I'll tell ya'. We're winning. Winning at Minecraft.
So looking around I see grass, a lot of grass. The greenest grass the world has ever seen. And there's a cow. Bet you get a lotta steak outta that big guy, well done. A nice well done steak.
I look over at the plain of beautiful grass, I see a vision of a house. A tremendous house, bigger and better than anything that's ever been. We're going to build a house. We're gonna build a house, and the villagers are going to pay for it.
You ask me, Mr.President, how will we build a house? Well, we're going to punch trees. Punch many many huge, oak trees. I'm the best tree puncher, believe me. No one does it better. But We're gonna punch all these trees and craft them into things and place them down.Idk, I was bored.

"Impeachment Eve" is trending on Twitter. Really?
They won't get enough votes to do it, even if they do it would only help him get re-elected.

so, I homeschool. kinda. I have a "community day" once a week where we share info, have conversations, and learn the new work material for the next week.
one day the conversation drifted to Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton, and the democrats and a lot of really dumb opinions and ideas.
our conclusion?
if the democrats win, America will literally cease to exist as we know it. not like nuclear war or anything, but bad laws getting passed and terrorists essentially getting free reign.
no joke.

"Super Tuesday" Phht. I don't see what's so 'super' about it.
I'v had a headache all day, and I didn't accomplish anything i wanted to today.

Okay so this is better than super duper graphics pack(it's free, and keeps Minecrafts default textures).
But it uses Directx Raytracing. I think that means it won't be coming to Xbox One? But will be on Project Scarlett

I feel like this isn't the only graphics-y thing coming with the Render Dragon. Ray tracing is way too exclusive to replace SDGP. LIke, one platform can have it, until probably 2021. And when they canceled SDGP, they said they will have other ways for Minecraft to have fancyness I think. So I think there will be somthing for the general Bedrock playerbase soon, in addition to this.

@Rollo I think they did want to make it. They had a working version way back in 2017, but it just ran like crap so they started over.

This really should be in Mine-imator.

Funny, but still very true, sadly.

They're releasing a free map along with MC RTX to show off all the key features of it.
This pack doesn't use any custom textures with any sort of texture mapping(except in the area that shows off that, I guess).
This is just the default shader that RTX will use.
Can't wait to see some beautiful community made shaders!
This comes out for Windows 10 users, on computers that have a ray-tracing GPU.
I'll have to wait until XSX releases to use this.

Their shaders suck. I would rather stick with mods.

@Swift Java and Javascript are two completely different things. A language called GLSL is typically used for shaders.

1.15 should be called "The 'bout Time Update". Adding 10 years worth of requested features
Yeah I know, 1.14 just came out, and I'm already looking at 1.15.
I'v had village and pillage for almost a month thanks to a Bedrock bug giving everyone the 1.11 beta, that's why.

@Cubic Ralsei they said guns are never coming.
@Mineshaft Animation I was not acting like Java users don't get to test things. Try learning to read.
@Foxtrot0806 I know. Apparently, they're not considered a village and pillage feature and have been pushed back for about 3 months.

1.16 change log is absolutely nuts.
Anyone who wasn't following the update through development will be shocked.
Is 1.16 now the largest update Minecraft's ever had?

@__Mine__ The update was a bigger one, but it's nothing drastic. I'd say the most overwhelmed would be those just starting to play Minecraft. They could get a bit overwhelmed when they hear more features are being built onto the features they're already trying to learn. I think any casual Minecraft player would be excited to learn the new features rather than being bombarded.

All this is done with no help, and even opposition, from the Left.
Good job, President Trump. Looking forward to another year of...Trumpy...ness...? Idk.

The only President that could actually fix unemployment rates.

18 new blocks in the next update already, and that's just granite diorite andesite and their polished variants. 6 new slabs, stairs and walls. Then there's stone stairs, smooth sandstone slabs and stairs, sandstone walls.
Why is it that for like 6 years Mojang thought that 2 walls, that don't even look that great, would be enough? I'm glad they're finally getting around to adding more.

2017 mob vote: 200 people voted

With an awesome new texture!

A bunch of people on Twitter are talking about Black Window releasing straight to Disney+.
I mean, Disney needs to understand something. Marvel fans love their movies. And if a pandemic causes Marvel fans not to get movies, then you need to release them on Disney+ before Marvel fans riot.
Ok, I'm not going to riot. But at this point I'd probably pay $30 to see it.
