  1. Many times I'v posted something about Bedrock edition, and most of the time many people like to reply with reason why Bedrock is inferior, or how much they hate, ect. And I always argue for Bedrock. Bedrock is not inferior to Java because it is lacking features that Java has. By that line of reasoning, Java is inferior to Bedrock as well. I think Bedrock is better mainly for one reason: I have to.

    Minecraft is a game I have enjoyed many hours playing, and will continue to play. I played for 4 years on Xbox 360 Edition, and created many worlds and builds that I don't want to lose.  I used to have to wait almost an entire year in between large feature updates, and I looked forward to every one, and still do. But long story short, Xbox 360 edition was canceled. I used to hate Bedrock as well, but for good reason. They basically released a beta and called it a release. But on the past almost 3 years, it has improved astronomically, and is now a game I can stand to play. So to keep my worlds and get updates bedrock was my only option. I could'v switched to Java by converting my worlds of course, but most of those worlds were built with my siblings in split screen. Playing Minecraft together is my favorite aspect of the game.

    I think one main reason some Java player hate Bedrock is because they don't play it. Sure you may have gotten Windows 10 Edition for free back when it still sucked, but you may not have really played it. My little brother was an avid Bedrock hater for over a year, always telling me how bad it sucked ect, but 2 weeks ago I finally got him to convert his 360 world. After playing for an hour and seeing all the new stuff, I haven't heard a complaint since. And I'm not saying that you should switch to Bedrock or anything.

    So yeah, I will still post statuses about Bedrock and how this happened, or how they did this, and blah blah blah. If you don't like that, you don't have to read them or comment.

    Anyway, in light of today's occasion I wanted to state my thoughts on the "Java Bedrock War", and why I play it. I do not hate Java, I do not think one is really better than the other(although if I had to pick, it would be Java.)

    Happy 10'th birthday Minecraft!  :Cake::Cake::Cake::Cake::Cake::Cake::Cake::Cake::Cake::Cake:

      @Dannyboi Here's how the Bedrock marketplace is different from the xbox 360/one edition store(which no one ever complains about): you can also get stuff for free. But if you want the packs that are on Marketplace, you have to pay. But there's still a lot free. There's this website full of lot and lots of free dlc which I look at often. MCPEDL

      Wait, you got Bedrock on ps3? Uh, no. and assuming you're referring to the console edition, I totally agree that it doesn't fell the same. Doesn't look the same, isn't the same.

      Yeah, I'm saying Bedrock reminds me of PS3 edition. Just isn't the same.

      While I do think Bedrock is inferior to Java, I still enjoy playing that version every once in a while.
