  1. 7 years ago I bought a game that changed my life. I somehow managed to keep my very first world all this time on my ol' laptop. Say hello to Dr. Nexil's FIRST house ever:

Bro this is nostalgic, and it's actually pretty good compared to my first build. I want to tell my own mc story. It's long and prose like an essay and admittedly extremely dumb and cringe so read on at your own risk.

I first played mc on pocket edition 6-8 years ago on my "friend"'s phone. Back then on pe, if I recall correctly, powered rails didn't require redstone power source, and chests could not be opened in creative. I didn't know of survival mode's existence yet, so I played just creative. I didn't know the use of compass, sword, armour, fishing rods and other tool items because I couldn't place them. I thought everything were blocks and should be able to be placed (lmao).

My first build was a roller coaster that whent around mountains. We didn't know how to ride them yet, so my "friend" and I just put a bunch of minecarts on the rails and pushed them, while flying closely behind. He broke his phone so yeah that's gone. At that time I really really wanted the game more than anything in the world. I asked dad and he just scoffed  and went back to playing Mahjong. He clearly didn't understand how much I desired it, it was just a crappy low level game to him. Note that my family didn't have any financial trouble.

A few years later, I moved from my home country to Australia, that's where I live today. I still wanted mc just as much if not more. After I got my first smartphone, I had full access to the internet (off topic, talking about internet and my first phone, I remembered when a ******* boy stole my mobile data because I didn't know what hotspot was.), from then on I started finding different ways to crack mcpe, using weird 3rd party apps like vshare, tutapp and tweakbox. I never whent far. On ios, any apps you doenloaded illegally will stop working after a few days, causing me to loose all my "builds". My first building that I built myself was a large brick house. It was a horrible looking brick box with no internal flooring, no decorations except a bed, a still-unuseable-in-creative chest, a bookshelf block and a furnance. There was no door because I couldn't fighure out how to place it. The roof was made of yellow clay with dirt and random flowers on top. There was a roller coaster nearby that lead straight to the 1x2 front doorless doorway. That world is gone after the app stopped working. Since then, I had stopped trying to get minecraft illegally and started watching stampy's videos. I officially started to learn to play minecraft.

4 years ago, my other "friend" got his hands on a cracked java edition launcher similar to tlauncher. That got me into playing illegally again and it's also when I first really started to play mc. I started my 1st survival world, which I cheated in because of my power creep problems. That sadly took the fun away and I tossed the world aside. I still have that world.

Eventually I got tired of playing cracked mc under the shadow. Got my java account. I was so happy. My username "YAN0014" was my username of my school laptop and I never changed it, I figured out ways to connect it to my other usernames. The list of all my usernames on different sites include YAN0014, MojangYang, MojangYan, MojangYang0014, MojangYan0014 and of course MJY, the simplified version of my second name. Though I've only ever used "YAN0014" on my java account. My cracking career was over, or so I thought.

in 2018, I started my official survival world on 1.13. That is my favourite world. there isn't much to it. I made little progress, and I still play on it today. I promised myself to never cheat or use commands, never touch the gamemodes and gamerules, never change the difficulty in order to get out of sticky situations, never use mods other than optifine and never let other players join it. It's my world and mine only, I will beat the ender dragon and prove myself.

Last year (when I started learning mi), another one of my friend told me of "tweakbox", which I used to install mcpe again, on my ipad so I could play during lunch time or waiting for the bus at school. Made my first bedrock world. Annnnd not suprisingly, it stopped working again. This time, I dug into the save files of my ipad, found the world folder, and emailed everything inside to myself one by one. File handling is difficulton ios, but apparently that method worked. I was able to port the world on the cracked mcpe to my legit version of mc win10 which was gifted to me when I bought java. I soon bought mcpe on ios legit.

After all this dumb hassle with bedrock, Minecraft, especially the Java edition of the game, became a very part of who I am. Who knew I would get attached to a "simple" blockgame with 16/16 textures?
