Please, can't somebody make reasonable boobs on a female for once? Subtlety is key.

Actually, if a female had 'anti-boobs' , she wouldn't have space in her chest for the heart or lungs. You just killed an innocent girl.

Ocelot reacted to TBNRdad in A Crash Cource On Aspect Ratio
*NOTE* If you want those fancy black bars at the top and bottom of your image/animation, head on over to The Tan James' tutorial on how to do that here.
*DISCLAIMER* This is my first ever guide on the MI forums. Constructive criticism is appreciated!
Using unique aspect ratios can really make your image/animation pop, but a lot of people don't know how to manually configure their aspect ratio in the MI program.
According to my good friends over on another website, there are 15 commonly used video aspect ratios. In this (hopefully) short guide, I will be going over how to export your animations and images in 4k width with all of the 15 aspect ratios mentioned below. Finally, apologies if this guide has already been made and I have been unsuccessful in finding it.
In order to use this guide properly, you have to be familiar with what sections of the MI program I'm talking about. Once you have completed your desired animation/image:
    1.  Find the export buttons. On the left, we have the export animation button. On the right, we have the export current frame (used to make images or wallpapers) button. They can both be found at the top of the MI window.
    2. After clicking one of the buttons mentioned above, you will be brought to this window. Click on the drop down box and find Custom at the bottom of the list. In order to follow this guide correctly, uncheck the Keep aspect ratio box. All other boxes are optional.

    3. Change the Width and Height to fit the aspect ratios mentioned below (they're rounded, by the way). Or come up with your own, alien one. That's cool too.
    4. Make cool stuff!

Again, I know many of you already know how to set your export settings to a specific ratio, although I don't think anyone just has a list of 15 ratios just sitting around haha. I know that I'll definitely use this in my future animations (especially the Silver Ratio, that one is really "cinematic" looking), and I hope others find it useful as well.
Now go forth and spice up thy animations with intriguing pixel heights!

Ocelot reacted to Voxy in Voxy's Phonemes Rig
I've created a rig that allows for easy facial animation in Mine-imator. It consists in a surface with interchangeable textures, each one corresponding to a phoneme.
Here's the kind of animations you can achieve with it:

To use it, just make sure to edit your skin so that its mouth doesn't appear, then, import the rig and place it correctly onto your character's face.
To animate the mouth, simply change the texture using keyframes.
Here's a chart that will help you choose the correct texture for each phoneme:

    Enjoy!

Ocelot reacted to SKIBBZ in Item Sheet Mouth Expressions
After many... many days of procrastination, I've decided to take some time today to make this for some laughs really.
This item sheet that I've made comes with many mouth expressions for you to use on your characters/projects!
A lot of the expressions you see are made for comedic reasons and shouldn't be taken seriously, I mean really... look at these expressions.

The texture should be compatible with all skins/flat surfaces. It's a fun little way to give your character a little more expression.
    -------------------------------
    Download the Item Sheet here!

No need to credit if used

Down here is a series of images that give you a brief showcase of the expressions and a reference possibly.

Because who needs lightroom rigs that cast terrible shadows everywhere for good character renders?

Rendered with Mine-imator 1.0.6, put together using Photoshop CC 2015. Full resolution available here.

The last video I made with Mine-imator was 1.5 years ago. At that point I had completely switched to Blender. I wanted to give Mine-imator a little try, and based off my Blender knowledge, animating this was easy.

Last December, Elias and I were approached to illustrate a graphic novel in a series based on wacky Minecraft adventures, made using Mine-imator. It contains over 700 renders, created within the span of 3 weeks. After many months, we finally have a physical copy (several, in fact) of the result :). We will create three more books in the series this year, and you can order the book here: http://www.amazon.com/Revenge-Zombie-Monks-Unofficial-Minecrafters/dp/1510707271

So I don't know how many people know this about me but, I love wolves. They are so cool and graceful. Today my mom was telling me a story on a wolf pack that had the sick/elder wolves in the front, The five strongest behind them, The second strongest behind those and the alpha at the back. So I had the great idea to make a small wolf pack including the Alphas, an elder and a pup all being tracked by a hunter.

I cannot watch a wolf die. . . I sobbed for three hours after watching a documentary on a female wolf who formed her own pack only for her to be shot by a hunter and have her pack crumble.
