  1. There is no such thing as randomness. If you have a calculator produce a random number, go back in time and go through the exact same steps, the same number will show up. Everything happens for a reason. In the calculators case, random number generator's have an algorithm to make an illusion of randomness.

      To be more specific RNGs take something, usually the system time, and perform math operations on it to create seemingly random numbers.
