  1. Meme in the 'U Got That [MMV]' format starring the mods and admins of LasagnMC. This is my first post in almost one and a half years. Hope you enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhSMJQAj3yg Uses Face Rigs V3 by RedAnimator Approximately 8 hours of work for 3 min. 10 seconds of video.
  2. A short narrative music video about the current war on CivClassics, a hardcore anarchy server that I have played on. Don't worry if you don't understand the underlying story behind the animation; in short, a war between two power groups has seen both sides commit shady acts, involving many innocents and resulting in bans in some places. Thanks to everyone for getting me here, and special thanks to David. Without you, I doubt I'd be the creative person I am today. I made this in only 30 hours over two weeks, so a lot of the animation and editing is still a bit rough. All information is in the YouTube description. Hope you enjoy! -CK
  3. I don't have a tutorial to hand, but basically, you use a bunch of different shapes or body parts (and maybe retexture them). Then, you edit their rotation points to fit what you're building, and their parents to make sure they're attached to the right things. Naming the parts helps a lot. To distribute it, you share the project folder, so people can import it into their own projects. Hope this helped!
  4. I have a lot of problems with the editing choices for this image. Chromatic aberration feels unnecessary Everything is very red-and-black which would be fine if it weren't for the point above Way too much bloom coming off objects which aren't emitters (cobblestone), while... Torches are not emitting at all Composition isn't bad though.

Hello! My name is Dan Bull.

  6. Good subject, the horse rig is nice and is posed well at a good angle to the camera. Well balanced overall, the subject is off-centre and the rest of the image isn't completely plain. That said, a larger background schematic may have served you better, rather than a seemingly contextless grass island. And as others have said, the lighting is very diffuse. This is your artistic freedom of choice to make, but I personally feel a bit more contrast would have helped. Good image overall!
  7. Scenery is the correct place for posting schematics. Rigs are for posting projects. Check Dave's readme pinned on each thread.
  8. The base model was not mine, but I brought it up from a world I have had for a couple of years and fleshed her out a bit. Download
  9. I will be making an entry, even though I only discovered this today :D

  11. Steve animation is very fluid and expressive. Not much to say other than it's very good! Dirt is a little lackluster; when it rises out of the ground you should give it a little 'bounce' and maybe some rotation. Consider showing Steve peeking with one eye when 'my cabbages' is playing to add a little more character. Entertaining, and overall quite good!
  12. I like how you kept the palette of the image the same as the iron golem, just off-whites and browns with touches of green and white. Nice work on the golem model itself. The fact everything seems to be un-snapped from the grid confused me at first, but I think it works well in this context. Love the subtle rose in the foreground. Only criticism is the leftmost fifth of the image is a bit boring. Some more small patches of light being let through leaves may help this. Overall, very nice!
  13. Gives it an interesting faux stop-motion kind of feel; like the Lego movie as Sticky mentioned.
