Voxy got a reaction from MojangYang in Can anyone tell me how to properly use lens dirt? I imported a texture with black bac
Lens dirt's fairly easy. It goes hand in hand with bloom or glow, so make sure either of those is being rendered.

When you import your texture, it seems like Mine-imator doesn't automatically apply it so you might need to pick it again from the texture list, then it should show up and you're ready to play with the settings.
Radius changes how far the effect should spread, Intensity changes how bright the effect is, Power is kinda misleading, but it's sort of the threshold of the effect. Basically, the higher the power, the brighter the pixels of your lens dirt texture need to be to show up.

What is absurd is how much you talk about Trump on a Minecraft animation/render forum.

    Good grief, people.
He just said he wished for something good to come to Java Edition. He didn't say "for once" or anything that'd imply Java never had anything good to begin with. Stop reaching so far just because you feel this irrepressible need to be such damn elitists about "muh java edishun".
Besides, he's right. Add-ons have objectively more features than datapacks at this time. Sure, you can make some really impressive stuff on Java, but only if you're a command block genius. It'll never be as easy as editing a few .json files in add-ons.
Like, Bedrock lets you create custom blocks that actually integrate well into the game, that don't resemble un-shaded crap and that don't clog up your game with hundreds of entities if you want to actually build something with them. You can make new entities with their own models, sounds, animations, AIs... You can even make custom biomes with their own terrain generation rules and custom structures!
All I see is a bunch of babies getting triggered and arguing because someone dared suggesting bringing a feature from this ridiculous inferior version of the game into their precious Java Edition, even if the suggestion is actually good.
