Buddy, you're the one who made this a public thing. You could've just PMed this guy if you were genuinely interested, but you wanted to openly question him.

@PikaMasterzMC Even if you do use Mine-imator, that doesn't help the fact that you still post content made in other software, does it? Let's say someone posts a wallpaper in Mine-imator when they join the forums, but then moves to another program and continues to post the content here. It hurts the popularity of the program and soon the Mine-imator Forums will become just a normal animation forum. And if that happens then we'll find people using stuff like Pivot and creating another trend here. The member Heavenira had posted content in Mine-imator for a while, but since late 2014 he's been posting all of his Blender content here. We want to be amazed at Mine-imator creations, not stuff in other software. We don't want to go "Wow, dude. This is awesome!" to something that clearly isn't Mine-imator related.

Now, since I don't want this to end in a war, here's my reasoning.
Ever since SKIBBZ, a popular member, decided to switch to C4D, it seems like it became trendy to the point where more and more people switch to more traditional 3D animation softwares. And while I think it's a good thing that people start learning programs where they can do much better stuff in the long-term, and not only Minecraft stuff, I honestly think they should consider going on other, more specialized, forums. Not only they would have a broader audience to show their work to, but they might also get criticism and advice from other people who can use the software, and more importantly, it would avoid leading to a situation where so many people post their C4D/Blender/3DSMax/Maya/whatever here that regular Mine-imator creations start becoming unnoticed, which would be a bad thing. These forums are mainly supposed to be a place to share Mine-imator related content, after all.

I think they can look with the proper settings. My Dalek rig is mainly made of cylinders, cones and spheres, and it doesn't look too off.
It's mainly a matter of sticking to low detail levels, which gives a nice low-poly feel to it.
