  4. Fun little render I made that has my account wandering into a a cave and spotting the mythical blue Enderman. This makes a great wallpaper which is why I posted it here. This is my second post ever on the Mine-imator forums! If you curious, be sure to check out my other post which is my attempt at photo-realism on Mine-imator. This took around 4 hours to make and I'm happy with the outcome. Allosaurus rig preview

Long time no see guys! A dinosaur rig after a long time! I was going to make another dinosaur, but I noticed 'Battle on Big Rock' video was uploaded. So I decided to make Allosaurus rig first. From this rig, my dinosaur rigs will contain some item parts instead of schematics. It will reduce frame drops and summoning time too. (It's just a demo image.) And plus, maybe I'll make 'Battle on Big Rock' video with Mine-imator, but I'm not sure that I can finish this. So it was a dinosaur rig after a long time, Did you like my dinosaur rig? I hope you guys like this one!

  26. not bad, scenery is pretty detailed; lighting and posing are all right while you do obey the rule of thirds, i do feel (personal opinion) that you should instead have steve take up an entire third of the screen, from the top to the bottom. that way more attention is drawn to steve and the scene feels more dramatic. while we're at it you can also play with the dutch angle or increase the FoV to heighten the tension. if you really want to go all-out, edit the phantoms in post to add speed lines or a blur effect to make it seem like they're swooping in for the kill perhaps your fringe is a little too strong, but i do like the effect anyways so personal preference

    We need to go deeper!

not bad for your second post. you avoided a common mistake that new animators make, which is making a dark scene too dark so that you can't see anything. the scene is covered in a melancholy blue but the orange torch and lanterns give a bit of satisfying contrast to the scene. placement of props such as the stone slabs, buttons, and characters are also pretty good. for some stylish effects, you could try to add a vignette, experiment with the depth of field, or decrease the saturation in the image to give the scene an even more gloomy or mysterious vibe (all three can be found under camera settings; try to experiment to see what looks great)

    New Showcase Update

Hello, if you look closely the 4 notifications are all different, 2 are for being featured on the Mine-imator Twitter while the other 2 for the showcase ? Also, this was not mentioned in the announcement topic, but wallpapers need at least 10 rep to be qualified for the showcase, while animations only 5, due to them generally requiring more effort to create.

    Fixed glowing blocks.

I've never liked the glowing blocks in mi, for example the wood part of the torch is glowing, same with the redstone ore, the stone bit of the ore is also glowing. I decided to fix them and make a pack containing 12 fixed glowing blocks. Here's the list of all of the blocks that i fixed VVV I was also going to fix blocks like the campfire and the different kinds of furnaces, but that is sadly not possible because i cannot have animated textures on them which would look really strange. Your only option for them is to simply just turn off glowing blocks in the settings. PS: If you use these blocks in any of your projects it would be nice of you to credit me. Thanks! Quick update: 2020-07-04 I haven't actually added anything to the pack, you may have noticed that I've stopped working on this pack so if anyone wants to contine working on it where i left off, that is completely fine. Just be sure to credit me as the original creator.

  42. For everybody to enjoy the Mine-imator forums, we must make an effort to follow some guidelines. Speak English English is the language of the internet, including the Mine-imator forums. You can speak in whatever language you want in PMs, though. Don't create duplicate topics Keep the amount of topics to a minimum to improve the browsing experience for other members. Don't make more than one account It takes up forum space, causes confusion between members and makes moderation a headache. Alternate accounts will be detected, removed and a warning issued to the original account. Post in the correct subforum If you're unsure, see the header in each subforum to see what you can and what you cannot post there. Topics that are posted in the wrong place will be moved by a moderator. Don't use oversized signatures To save everyone from breaking their mouse scroll wheel, keep the signature size to a minimum. 200-250 pixels tall is the absolute maximum. If your signature is ridiculously tall, a moderator will remove it and give you a warning. Don't abuse the Reputation system The Reputation system was made to highlight and incentivize helpful and constructive posts. Do not give up- or down-reps to a member just for the sake of increasing or decreasing their rank, or create shops to harvest Reputation in exchange for services. Doing this will result with a warning and eventually your Reputation reset to 0. Don't chat The forums are for intelligent discussions and not small talk. If you want to chat, go here or use the PM system. Don't use adf.ly or similar services Unless you are the rightful owner of the thing you're linking to. Don't post a status update about a new topic you've started If the topic is still visible under "Recent Topics" Do not revive dead topics A topic is "dead" if the latest reply is more than 2 months old. Rather than bumping them to the top, start a new topic. You may revive your own topics, as long as you add new information. Topic revival is only allowed if the topic is posted in the Mine-imator creations or Mine-imator resources sections of the forums. Use the report button, don't resort to mini-modding If someone is breaking any of the rules here, don't post anything. Rather, press the "Report" button in the top left of the offender's post. This will alert all moderators, leaving a message like "This is posted in the wrong forum!" will not. Taking matters into your own hands like this is called mini-modding, and posts like that take up space and do not add anything to the topic. Read more about mini-modding here. Do not impersonate others This includes regular members, moderators or banned users (by using the infamous "BANNED" avatar) These things are not tolerated ANYWHERE on the forums (including the Discord and PMs) Discussions of illegal subjects/activities (this includes software cracking, torrenting, etc.) Offensive/racist/rude behavior or imagery Bullying or discrimination Spamming (constantly posting the same content, nonsense or useless posts just to get noticed) Pointless swearing/overuse of CAPS Gore/Screamers or other frightening imagery Links to viruses/trojans/malware Images of/links/heavy references to sexual content Advertising potentially malicious products or sites (if you are unsure, ask a moderator) Flashing imagery or excessive use of colors, special characters, smileys and/or oversized fonts Breaking the above rules will result with a warning sent to you by a moderator/administrator. Repeated warnings will result with a banning of your account. If we follow these rules, we can all have a good ol' time!
