  4. Hey y'all, I made some changes to the showcase and the top animation tweets. Showcase: Users will now get a notification when their creation is featured, you can change your preferences here: Notification Settings Added "Posted ..." displaying the date of the creation. Hidden topics are no longer displayed in the showcase (note: the showcase is still updated weekly). Twitter: Top 3 weekly animations will now avoid duplicates of previously tweeted animations. Users will now get mentioned in the tweets (@-ed) if they have a Twitter set in their forum profile. If multiple animations have the same rep score they will be tied to the same spot. You will get a notification + email when your animation is featured. Again, this can be changed in the Notification Settings linked above.

  8. Yes, I animated something with the 0.7 demo. The whole reason why animation is so bad is simply because you can't make overlapping action ;-; But here is the vid lmao and lighting looks so bad tell me what you think

    How much should I pay?

Donation-wise, yes. Any amount is appreciated though you should keep it mind that donating doesn't promise anything you want out of the program.

  18. Hello everyone! It's been a while since the last dev update. The last Modelbench beta update was released over a year now, so here's a dev update touching base with what's going on. To begin with, Modelbench as a whole is in the middle of being remade from scratch, starting from May. Here are some reasons as to why I've decided to remake it: Source code was a mess... Originally, Modelbench was developed (in a rush, no less) to create resources for Mine-imator updates. It wasn't designed as a tool for the community. This had a pretty big effect on how everything was set up internally, and cleaning it up would require going through every bit of what I made, which would be time-consuming. Combined with how new I was to programming at the time with poorly written code everywhere, remaking it from scratch sounded faster than tediously rewriting syntax and restructuring most of the source. Open source! When I eventually leave as a Mine-imator developer, I don't want to keep Modelbench's code to myself. Especially if modders (or future developers) want to add new model features. Previously, I wouldn't consider making Modelbench open source, but I've changed my mind now since it'll be set up better this time around. Modelbench will be open-sourced when 1.0 launches. Since Mine-imator 1.2.4, I've been devoting almost all my development time on solely Modelbench to make it the best it can be, and promptly. This remake has also allowed Voxy to revise some design choices, making for a better modeling experience as a whole. While I still don't have a release window for when the next version will be made public, this remake is being developed much faster than Modelbench was previously. That's all the news I have for now concerning Modelbench, I hope this could answer some questions as to what I've been up to lately. I'll be showing off some of the new exciting features soon, so stay tuned! In the meantime, here's a teaser to keep you waiting!

  19. I decided to update the default steve skin to match the 1.14 new textures. I also added an updated classic version with the beard (smile) and two more! download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2nqft5k4v19d4f4/Steve skin pack.zip?dl=0

  20. NO! NO NO NO! I AM NOT MAKING ANOTHER FACIAL RIG! THIS TOOK FOREVER! ? ...Okay, reasons you should download THIS one instead of others like Skibbz's or Sharpwind's. 1. I went through a small amount of extra effort to make it a .zip instead of the dreaded .rar file. 2. You DON'T have to change any colors other than the eyes and eyebrows, unlike Sharp's. 3. I actually made the iris (the colored part of your eye) SEPARATE from the pupil, which no-one else seems to do. 4. The face it comes on looks interesting, and even has glasses! (No, I did not have that skin on my computer prior to making this) BECAUSE I FREAKING SAID SO, THAT'S WHY!!! *Ahem*... Sorry, I don't like making facial rigs. Anyway, here's the download link in big blue letters. Also, don't bother crediting me or anything. That'll get annoying to whoever reads it. Most people say that credit is either necessary or appritiated, but I reccomend you don't credit me unless someone actually ASKS you about the rig. It looks ugly here because I was to lazy to edit the Steve skin, so I just made they eyes bigger. Don't do that. It'll look like this. ^Don't abuse my face rig, get rid of the face on the skin first^ https://www.mediafire.com/file/qt4tg0xz87g7het/GB%27s_Facial_Rig.zip/file Note: The face-crack curves are kind of glitchy if you curve them too much, but don't and you should be fine. I'm tired...

    "City Flirting" (4K)

A boy, tons of comments. I actually edited in paint.net, and yes, it is a little high lol. I shouldn't have added so much glow. Interesting opinion on the flirting lol. True m8. I'll keep this stuff in mind. I had that idea, but I never executed it. Smart tips. For the clothes, it was already a very dark skin, but yes, I guess not so bright edging. I felt guilty lol because I've never posted anything around this topic lol (maybe guilty isn't the right word, maybe nervous lol) Thank you for the comments, friends!

  24. Looks like you are going for a windy city atmosphere! I say add some leaves/paper flying around to “see” the wind and add some blushes (because they are flirting) and for the character outline, her clothes is too dark to have such a strong edge light imo I also think the colour choice and dark vignette feels too cool and dark for the theme (why do you feel guilty for making it)

OwO, you're getting better! You're posing is almost there, and your lighting is looking more professional. Just keep practicing. This is a scene where fringe and lens flare actually fit. Pretty cool idea too. Maybe just have the camera show more of the pillagers. I like where you're going, @TexasTony04.

    You Can't Hide Wallpaper

@Ethanial was giving criticism, something that helps you create better content in the future. Take it and build from it, it's the only way to grow. He's been around for long time; he knows what he's talking about. Just work on the posing, is what he's saying.

  29. Woah, you are making the same mistakes i was making. 1. Slow down! The camera switches too fast 2. You are slightly overdoing the idle motions, they must be verrry slite movements.

  33. To install a translation: Download the language file (a .milanguage file.) Open the settings (wrench button.) Open the interface header. Click the folder icon below the language info to select the downloaded file. To create your own translation: Copy the english.milanguage file found in the Data\Languages folder of your Mine-imator install and rename it (to swedish.milanguage for example.) Download Notepad++ or VS Code (both are free) and open your new file. Regular Notepad is NOT recommended for this. In the file, replace the text to the right of the : on each line (leave a space next to the colon), numbers preceded by a percent sign (%1, %2...) are given certain values from the program. To view the changes, install the language using the instructions above, the settings also has a button for reloading the language. When a new Mine-imator version is installed with new texts, they will automatically be displayed in English, and the log file in C:/Users/You/AppData/Roaming/Mine_imator will tell you what fields are missing from your translation. Translations of outstanding quality may be added into the program! Note: Remember to translate the file in the latest available version!

  35. Correction: it is possible (due to the fact that .obj is a plain text format). (And may have been done before, if my memory is correct, but for some reason wasn’t implemented into a release version?), I’m guessing the developers don’t want to add it. So yeah bribing them might be a good solution to get it added
