Currently, there is an exploit in MI that lets you set some sliders above or below their normal limits. Nimi has said on the Mine-imator Discord that he plans to fix the exploit. Without this exploit, we would not be able to make weird things like these: I'm making this poll to let the community decide on Mine-imator's future.25 points

Chromatic Aberration Test [4K]
IraelianEnergy and 6 others reacted to BaconSandwich for a topic
Woo I threw this together real quick today to test out how chromatic aberration can help make a wallpaper better. I thought "Huh, maybe I could use it in a high-energy scene to imply lots of movement and instability" and then I did. I also think that the little bit of blur helped to sell the look as well. Enjoy! EDIT: Oh, and by the way, if anyone wants to see how many spot lights there are to get the lighting I did: EDIT 2: Also I'm kinda salty about the fact that I pretty much threw this together over the course of about an hour or two and it turned out better than many of my other projects I've spent days of on and off work on.7 points -

I have an alternate idea: a developer mode, obtained by pressing idk... Ctrl+Alt+F12? Then the popup "Do you want to enable developer mode?" will show along with some lines "I know what I am doing!" etc. In the developer mode, you would be able to put any values in any slider, beyond its limits, with a notice that bugs that are occurring in the developer mode are not gonna be fixed. Therefore, those who are new with MI won't be able to do too much while animating in MI, but more experienced users would be able to do more things than the program is designed for.4 points

The following are some things I know must be tweaked: The hair is a bit to short The chest seems weird to me, but maybe thats because its a Minecraft Character with... uh... protrusions The arms are going to be tweaked to have fingers Any CC is wanted!2 points -

This collection of tips is mainly aimed at beginners, but I'm sure more experienced people might learn a trick or two! If there's a topic you'd like me to cover in future tips, please let me know! How to motivate yourself on animating in Mine-imator
Ricky T reacted to Cryptic Runner for a topic
I've recently seen that some people are more lazy than motivated on doing animations. Here is how you can motivate yourself: Experiment around for anything, for example a fight animation. Make humoristic animations, or animation remakes! Take inspiration off of something, trust me. Without inspiration, humanity would have not advanced that much. Practice with sequence transitions, like running to crouching, walking to jumping, etc. Try to discover an animator's secret on making good mine imator animations, for example, good looking water. Experiment with modelbench models, it's better than making rigs.1 point -
