    Running and punching

Made a running cycle loop and a punch. Haven't animated actual movement like this for some years. (Also, excuse any model bending issues, these animations were made in 1.2.1. Also please try to keep replies relevant to this topic.)

  2. This situation right here makes me laugh. Semi-quick summary for those who don't know: These kids with the MAGA hats are from a Catholic school and came to Washington for March For Life, a large protest against abortion. Some Israelites started throwing insults at the Catholic boys about supporting gay rights, called Trump homosexual, and told them to go back to Europe. Obviously not very nice things to say, eh? It gets funnier. A Native American and his group of friends see the confrontation, and think "Hey, MAGA hats are bad, I will play my drum in front of them to teach them a lesson." So the boys were already being cussed out and when Phillips joins in, things get really uncomfortable. This is where the mainstream media decided to start watching, and made up some lies about the cause of the incident. We now have a feature-length recording of the whole thing, so we know which news outlets completely made up stuff. After a while the boys get a little tired of being cussed out and having a drum beat in front of them, and finally when someone yells at them that they are "f***ing p***ies", they decide to just leave. What's funny about the recording is all the liberals surrounding Phillips holding their phones out like "checkmate, conservatards". Later on, new recordings surfaced and news outlets were found to be plain wrong. They saw the MAGA hats, their brains switched into autopilot, and they assumed everything they could about them. News outlets like these aren't new to this. That's their whole joke. That's why people don't take CNN seriously. It makes me mad that people still follow them, but I'll talk about that more later. The point is for now that news outlets made up a story to make them look bad, and they were proven wrong yet the liberals who followed them before still defend them. So why did they make it up? To push their agenda, of course. They want people to take their side against Trump, because Trump is literally Hitler 2.0 to them. They want people to antagonize the MAGA hat. And they want to do all this because the success of progressivism really relies on people joining their side. Ask any feminist what their goal is and they'll say something along the lines of "to spread awareness". "To bring more people to the cause". That, mixed with the fact that news sites get more money the more people that read their articles, and it's pretty easy to see why news sites do this often. They know their existing viewers already don't like Trump. They know how easy it is to trick people into thinking the boys were in the wrong, especially with the MAGA hats and the smug looks. But now that they've been proven wrong, why do people still flock to their defense? I dunno, I thought all of this was really interesting and also hilarious. I'll think about that last question and get back to you because this status is longer than I thought. Just wanted to introduce the concept, really.

This collection of tips is mainly aimed at beginners, but I'm sure more experienced people might learn a trick or two! If there's a topic you'd like me to cover in future tips, please let me know! 15. Here you go. A lens flair that you can use for animations. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/nd3jj9om2g16132/Lens+Flair+Rig.zip How to use: Import the rig into your animation. Parent the rig to a camera. Use the position, rotation, scale, and alpha sliders to adjust it according to where the light source is in your shot. If done right, effects may be similar to those in the GIF above.

  20. For some the people that post crap and then later say, “I’m just bad at this” please stop. You’re basically hurting yourself and your reputation here on the M-I forums. Plus I see some of ya’ll saying this after people tell you “it’s good” and “Don’t say that! I love this!” so I’m still not sure if this is some kind of attention seeking tactic or if ya’ll are just that freaking hard on yourself. Again, please stop. No one likes seeing some possible great stuff and then seeing the creator claiming they’re bad at it and then saying it isn’t good.

  31. Ok, I write this after seeing "R E A L I T Y - Concept 6"; and the truth, that has made me rewind and reflect several things as an animator: 1. How does a channel with such a high content quality have few subscribers? It is undervalued and it seems unfair. 2. As I would like my favorite animators and that I like to have more subscribers and followers to see their work and effort, in the animations. Like -StickyMations-, HeYoNia and SKIBBZ, they work very hard in their animations, such fluid movements, realism, rigs, atmosphere and lighting, I love their work, but it gives more importance and interest to animators who should not have it, like those who make Monster School, so I move on to the next point. 3. I should not be where I am now, I am a mediocre animator who only had luck, but my animations are very vague and I do not think I can reach the level of the animators of this time, like the animators previously mentioned, get to the point of animate as CaZaKoJa or the realism that SharpWind loves so much, my animations focused on the cartoon style are only overrated by children, I mean, one of my most popular animations on my channel is Hello Neighbor and it is not so well animated, if SharpWind sees me , take my head off. Channels like Sticky or HeYoNia should have my number of subscribers at this time (Or better yet, more) and I should have stayed in my slow growth of 2016, with my 400 subscribers. See great animations like "R E A L I T Y - Concept 6" makes me feel like an animator that should not be here, but continuing to make gameplays. I'm not demolishing Concept 6, not at all, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL ANIMATED JEWEL, only when I compare that with what I've been doing during this years it makes me feel unable to do something like that. Maybe it's just crapicho mine, but I just wanted to comment and release this feeling, here. I wish the best animators of the community a lot of success and also the new ones that are starting, the undervalued ones that continue, that at some point will have their sudden growth as I had it! I believe that I will retire from the world of animations, for now.

  34. For everybody to enjoy the Mine-imator forums, we must make an effort to follow some guidelines. Speak English English is the language of the internet, including the Mine-imator forums. You can speak in whatever language you want in PMs, though. Don't create duplicate topics Keep the amount of topics to a minimum to improve the browsing experience for other members. Don't make more than one account It takes up forum space, causes confusion between members and makes moderation a headache. Alternate accounts will be detected, removed and a warning issued to the original account. Post in the correct subforum If you're unsure, see the header in each subforum to see what you can and what you cannot post there. Topics that are posted in the wrong place will be moved by a moderator. Don't use oversized signatures To save everyone from breaking their mouse scroll wheel, keep the signature size to a minimum. 200-250 pixels tall is the absolute maximum. If your signature is ridiculously tall, a moderator will remove it and give you a warning. Don't abuse the Reputation system The Reputation system was made to highlight and incentivize helpful and constructive posts. Do not give up- or down-reps to a member just for the sake of increasing or decreasing their rank, or create shops to harvest Reputation in exchange for services. Doing this will result with a warning and eventually your Reputation reset to 0. Don't chat The forums are for intelligent discussions and not small talk. If you want to chat, go here or use the PM system. Don't use adf.ly or similar services Unless you are the rightful owner of the thing you're linking to. Don't post a status update about a new topic you've started If the topic is still visible under "Recent Topics" Do not revive dead topics A topic is "dead" if the latest reply is more than 2 months old. Rather than bumping them to the top, start a new topic. You may revive your own topics, as long as you add new information. Topic revival is only allowed if the topic is posted in the Mine-imator creations or Mine-imator resources sections of the forums. Use the report button, don't resort to mini-modding If someone is breaking any of the rules here, don't post anything. Rather, press the "Report" button in the top left of the offender's post. This will alert all moderators, leaving a message like "This is posted in the wrong forum!" will not. Taking matters into your own hands like this is called mini-modding, and posts like that take up space and do not add anything to the topic. Read more about mini-modding here. Do not impersonate others This includes regular members, moderators or banned users (by using the infamous "BANNED" avatar) These things are not tolerated ANYWHERE on the forums (including the Discord and PMs) Discussions of illegal subjects/activities (this includes software cracking, torrenting, etc.) Offensive/racist/rude behavior or imagery Bullying or discrimination Spamming (constantly posting the same content, nonsense or useless posts just to get noticed) Pointless swearing/overuse of CAPS Gore/Screamers or other frightening imagery Links to viruses/trojans/malware Images of/links/heavy references to sexual content Advertising potentially malicious products or sites (if you are unsure, ask a moderator) Flashing imagery or excessive use of colors, special characters, smileys and/or oversized fonts Breaking the above rules will result with a warning sent to you by a moderator/administrator. Repeated warnings will result with a banning of your account. If we follow these rules, we can all have a good ol' time!
