Started this project on 11/2/18 and finished up on 11/12/18. I put a lot of time into this project and getting the lighting right. I also took the time to use proper prop placements and details .I did NOT use any prop packs, texture packs, or anyone's rigs. Well, I was recently told to go look at lighting turtorials. Here are my attempts... The first, I'm naming "Willowbrook Cottage" (After the schematic I used) And the second I've named "Stargazing" So yeah, constructive critsim welcome, just don't be rude about it! Also, I know the blur was... ehhh... on the Cottage picture. I couldn't get it perfect.

Here I am with some more smooth tests, did 3 random ones. Main focus is my jump, boost from the cube he was jumping and doing a flip (just watch the video kinda hard to explain).

How many people would like to see me revamp and start over my Survival Series? Which only had one episode since I was waiting to get a little better at animating? I cant do lighting like this at all lol, I would say to make the night one a bit darker but other than that im impressed

Yeesh, the replies to this post... Anyways. Here's some feedback. The first image would benefit from brighter sunlight and less intense ambient occlusion, as the artifacts alongside edges become very obvious and it tends to look bad, especially on the roof. As for the depth of field, it doesn't look too bad, but I would've increased the blur radius. (Though this might worsen the issue of foreground blur not affecting edges.) As for the second image, it's just too bright considering it's supposed to be a night ambiance. You should find references to figure out a good way of picking colors.

I've actually been involved with Mine-imator development since 1.1.0 was still in development. ?

I believe this has come up in the past, and someone, probably Nimi, said it's was either impossible in GM or very unlikely. A any rate, this would be good, but I would simply like a rework of the way MI does shadows. Instead of doing them like dynamic shadows in video games(very pixelated and blurry) to be more like the ones in blend and C4d where the shadows are very sharp and well defined. But I would definitely like this to be added.

While I agree that this would make for easy bending, ModelBench really eliminated any bending problems/"rigorous processes" that one would encounter with regular MI rigging.
