So after dropping this project so many times before, i decided to finally finish it, so here is the updated version of the "Hyperspace Asteroids" clip from a few months back! it isnt much but this stuff takes time. Remember that this stuff takes time, and is most likely going to change over time (cockpit will be rigged in the final product)

  5. A timelaspe of a grandfather clock. I could't render the images on camera because the software glitched and said a process failed or something, so I compromised and rendered the images in a new project off camera.     It's fine if you're fine with it, we're not and that's why we downvote things. We downvoted @9redwoods's post about Swift disliking him because he has a clear misunderstanding of criticism even after being drilled about it constantly. That's also the reason Swift and Karyu downvoted his original comment on this post. Because it's not actually helpful criticism. If he's going to give lazy criticism that doesn't even elaborate on what he means by it, and then defende himself after doing it by saying he's changed since then, and then goes right back and does it again, it just comes full circle with his misunderstanding and underappreciation of criticism himself.

This is pretty much needed and specially useful for the camera: A button that when you press it, the selected object in the timeline will not go up/down when you scrow, so it's always visible, it's "sticked", so you always have those keyframes visible, this would save a lot of time when trying to sync stuff to camera transitions.

There were certain skins that didn't really lend themselves to much detail, so sorry if your skin didn't have much done with it, but I hope you enjoy!   17. My last collab didn't go so well, so let's make this simple and snappy... The Anvil Collab Rules: 1. Your animation has to have something to do with anvils, and have an anvil in it. 2. Edit in a SMALL watermark displaying your name at BOTTOM LEFT corner of your animation. 3. Submission must be at least 10 seconds long and be under 1 minute long. 4. Do NOT add in any music. 5. Add in sound effects to your animation. 6. The size of your animation must be 1280 by 720 pixels. 7. The FPS of your animation must be 30. The deadline is October 24th.     Change biome colors

    In terms of how the glow effect is generated, it's a copy of the bloom effect except it renders the scene based on each object's glow values and then blurs the rendered result with the radius and 'adds' it to the render based on the intensity.(So radius and intensity can't be per-object. And falloff is just a second glow effect.) Since it wouldn't have made much sense to put the settings in a camera(As it already has bloom.) or the background(Since it's unrelated to rendering effects.), I've put them in the project render settings. For now they'll remain in the render settings tab though in the future that may change depending on what major changes we'll make in the next major update.(1.3)

    Another Test

    It's definitely a great start. I feel like Steve could use a bit more bends or hunch down a bit more. As it is in the video he has a very stiff posture. The knee bends help but there could also be some arm and torso bends, and maybe more knee bends. Overall decent animation, and the physics look just fine. Although the hammer kind of squishes into the ground after landing a little. Other than that, looks great!

    Awesome job! I love doing these kinds of wallpapers once in a while. I do love how accurate it almost is to the game. I do have some ways you can tell it's MI... The saturation is too high. When crouching in MC, the legs are positioned forward. In the image, the legs are in the normal spot. The nametag text is stretched. Steve is bright purple. When you're hit in MC, you turn red. The hotbar should be touching the bottom of the screen unless you based this off of a different version than Java. The nametags should fit the text. Again, awesome work! That was only the differences I saw, and remember, I'm not hating on you. I just wanted to tell you some differences from the game that I saw.

  37. A problem I see a lot with amateur animations is that the characters and stories seem conflicting, or undeveloped. Fortunately, these problems can be fixed easily, if given a slight bit of time and thought. Characters The single most important factor in giving your characters depth is making sure you know your characters. You should know all there is to know about your characters. You created them, after all. You should know everything, and I mean everything, about your character. Their name, their parents' names, their childhood home, their hobbies, religion, nationality, everything. I would recommend using this sheet, which I use for all my characters: You don't have to answer every question (like job salary), but I would highly encourage you to at least try to. You're the puppet master; you can use what you know about your characters to exploit their weaknesses, add conflict to the story, and put the characters through challenges that might not be as challenging if you didn't know their weaknesses. Once you know your characters, they'll seem a lot more believable to the viewer. It'll really help the viewer relate to the characters, and feel more - umm... feelings - when the characters go through conflict (be it internally or externally), or when they achieve something due to hardship and sacrifice. In the end, remember that it's your job as the creator of characters and worlds for them to explore to be wary of what they're capable of (and what they're not). Give flavor to the screen, don't make every character a monotonous robot who just follows along the story. Give every character different attributes to spice it up a bit, and actually have them all involved in the story. Don't be afraid to exaggerate certain traits. That's how interesting story-telling is born. Really, just have fun with it! If you're not enjoying your character, make them more interesting! Give them a tragic backstory or something for crying out loud. Setting Another important factor is where your story takes place. Have the characters explore different locations, spice it up a bit. If every episode of a series takes place in the exact same place, people start to lose track of what they're actually watching. Make the setting interesting, please. I don't see this problem too often, but it should still be said. The location and elements of it should pertain to the feeling you're trying to give to the viewer while watching it. If you want the viewer to feel scared, use darker, colder lighting. If you want the viewer to be happy for the characters, use brighter and warmer colors. There's honestly not much to say on setting. Just make sure your locations are interesting, with a lot of different layers to them and a lot of thought put into what they look like to the viewer. That's all I've got. I hope some of my tips helped you guys a little bit.
