Minimator will not start!

Well it sort of runs, but doesn't run enough to function as intended. I can't exactly explain how to recreate the bug but here is the story and logs. I installed Minimator. I run it and receive a message that states I need Direct X on my computer. Check. I went to Microsoft and installed that. I relaunched it, and got a new error. A window popped up titled "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" with text that said

Runtime Error!

Program: C\Users\Lennyface\Mine-imator\Mine-imator.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information
