How do I make the camera "teleport" to a different location without any moving?

Question

So, I have been having some issues with Mine-imator, and by issues I mean I don't know how to solve my problem. Now, with the camera it doesn't teleport from one location to the next, it physically moves to the next location. Now, I want to know, why does this happen? Is it normal for this to happen, because it sure doesn't seem so, considering I have seen some Mine-imator animations where the camera doesn't move from one place to another? Or do they cut out the moving part using an editing program?

>Make one key frame at the end of your normal shot then another key frame right after it.

>Select that key frame.

>Go to the "Transitions" tab in the camera's properties.

>Select the "Instant" transition.

>Move the camera to the location you want it in.

>It will now instantly go to the shot you want without any hassle in between.
