Sticky Template! [Male version] (DOWNLOAD)

Hi guys! I've been inspired to do this since

I saw how my template worked so well with @Nicolasev's skin...

So now... I'll be releasing my Sticky Template!

Easy to use, easy to retexture and good for lip sync!

How to retexture?

Well, for retexturing you obviously need to change the skin that comes for

default when you open the file.

But first! you gotta do some changes to the

skin you want to rig. I'll use paint.net to do that.

You open your desired skin and it should look like this:

Then, let's say you have all the changes done, the skin should look like this:

These are the changes you must do:

Delete 4 four pixels on the hands (it is highly recommended to delete 3 pixels to avoid glitches)

Clean the face (remove the hair and other details)

Delete a rectangle of 8x3 on the face (this is for the mouth)

Delete 2 squares of 2x2 with a separation of 2 pixels, right next to the mouth (this is for the eyes)

On a 3D view it should look like this:

The skin is ready! Go and put it on the file!

Almost there! Now go and copy the RGB of the skin, select these four things

paste it and YOU HAVE IT DONE!

Other details such as 3D hair are totally up to you.

 

 

 

How to use?

Pretty much all the instructions are

in the name of the stuff you want to use.

But there's someting that may be hard to do, those are happy and sad expressions.

To make a sad or a happy expresion, you'll find the 2 folders "Sad" and "Happy".

Select the folder (Just select the folder, nothing else) and mess with the X scaling.

Of course, you'll need to open the mouth first, so go to lips, select the 2

"Horizontal" at the same time and use the Y scaling.

It's as simple as that. Now go and enjoy your rig!

As soon as I saw the notification I immediately alt tabbed out of DOOM and got right to work to put my character on it.

It's really simple to use once you figure out how to use everything, and overall looks great.

i would try to make it more easy to animate, like lock the useless stuff, rename stuff etc.

im actually doing that at the moment.

And When i put the file in the folder and replace the template with my skin it's a purple skin with No eyes and nothing like that... PLZ HALP

RGB stands for Red Green Blue. It is a code that determines the colour of pixels and visualizes them in the form of a hex code. You'll need to copy the hex code of the colour you want for the skin. In Paint.net, you can do this by using the colour picker tool on the skin colour, clicking the 'more' tab on the colour wheel, and copying the string of numbers and letters in the 'hex' box and pasting them into the hex box in mine-imator under the 'colour' tab. It tells you how in the topic. It's really very easy.
