...and don't even bother saying the world layout is wrong. Its difficult mapping a sphere onto a cube. Lets just say its a fictional world.

too square, and all you did for the ocean was scale down a lapis block...

it's not bad, but considering how long you've been here, and your status, i kinda expected a bit more...

not entirely round, but at lease cubicly round, if you know what i mean...

Actually.. If you would use for eyes you would see that it isnt a down-scaled lapiz block but intead a cube with a custom texture made specificly to keep the universal pixel size of 0.625.

 

And in some cases, simplicity > complexity. You don't want a random piece of background to be too detailed or else it would look out of place.

The lapis lazuli kind of bugs me. I think it would look a bit better if the items used for the land had the top of the grass texture. But this is still a good rig.
