I think it would be great if you can join another player project and help them using room listt and password or trough LAN

because making animation is consume many time and i need my friend helping me

Someone could possibly make it multiplayer with this?

I've already tried it and gotten very basic things to work, but it's extremely tedious transferring data of all the variables and not to mention, laggy, unless you have ping under 50 to the server. Rubberbanding all over the place.

  • That wouldn't be a problem if the server can send a packet with the version.
  • That's a problem with anything multiplayer.
  • There shouldn't be if it's done right.
  • That's why you would only add people you trust.

Rubberbanding for regular games is bad enough, I don't want to see what it looks like when your trying to work on an animation. :wacko:

Unfortunately it seems we are stuck with the limitations of gamemaker engine. I mean this engine can't even properly render alpha transparencies and you are asking for multiplayer..

Someone needs to make a MineImator for C++ or some other more robust language so there can be all the cool stuff that we are missing from Cinema4D like physics and so on.
