This is a great idea, however the system is flawed.

Let's say someone with around 100 reputation battles someone with 1000 reputation, despite the 100 rep person having a better animation, most, if not all the attention will be at the person with 1000 reputation.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to pair people up who have a similar number of followers?
