Many people are using the code BBcode in the wrong way. And some people aren't even making use of it.

This is what people are using it for:

or even:

<a href="http://imgur.com/qhK2BbF"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/qhK2BbF.png" title="source: imgur.com" /></a>

People use it that way thinking it will APPLY the code once you use the "code" BBcode.

They also:

They also some times try to teach someone who doesn't know how to use images:

To use  images, type in [ img ] link for your image (imgur/etc)[ /img ] but without the spaces.

Isn't that confusing for a newbie?

REAL Usage:

 Like this:

To use images, type in:

[img]Link for your image (imgur/etc)

How to?

It's simple, use this code:

[code]your code teaching someone something, or a code you want to show without it applying[/code]

Therefor you can do this:

[IMG][img]http://i.imgur.com/qhK2BbF.png[/img][/IMG]
[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/jsyuhHsyskwu.swf[/soundcloud]

As you can see, I applied the proper code, but it DIDN'T apply. That's the real usage of the code feature.

Hope I helped

(If this gets pinned, I'd be superb happy) (because it will be my first ever, (to rubin))

Edit3/29/2015:8:55PM GMT+3: CENSORED words such as Goose and Fnaf WILL be turned into Aquatic bird who must not be named and fad even though you put it in the "code" element.

80% of the people do this: To use spoilers, type in (spoiler] text (/spoiler) but replace the "(" with "[".

Easier way:

To use spoilers, type in [spoiler] text [/spoiler]

I thought saying Goose in code won't get replaced...

David doesn't censor curse words, but censors random users' names -_-

It's an inside joke for mods to have odd censors. The rest of the mods don't and not even David either. Me and Goose are the only ones.

Also he doesn't censor them so we can distinguish those who really curse from those who fake it. We used to censor them and they'd show up like this: *****
