Make an item sheet with the hair, shoes, whatever you want. Then create items with that texture, rescale them (.5 for the head and body, .25 for arms and legs), position them, and (optional) turn off click to select.

how to make the item sheet?

Download the image, open it in Paint.net, a photo editing program , get the magic wand (Fw1TluO.jpg) and click the white background on the image. Then click on your keyboard "Delete". Now, for hair, go in your skin, get the hair, and paste it on the item sheet you're editing in (in different slots). Then, get magic wand again, click on the green triangle, and click delete again. Then go to Mineimator, get an item, where there's "image", click browse then select the item sheet you've just edited. Position all the hairs, put them together, and scale it until done. :-)

You can also make it based off the center of the square you're working in, that way you can simply import the item sheet.
