Which parts should be 3D on a rig

Personally, I like having little details, like the shirt collar, hair, and anything like a chain, watch, etc be 3D. It really depends on the character you're trying to make, and don't go too overboard with it.

make sure you uncheck the box that says parent to upper/or bottom layer on the body and arms.

Wait, where is this option? I was trying to do 3D sleeves on my latest rig, but I couldn't find anything like that.

its in the tab that pops up when you first click an object i think its object properties but im not to sure... its the one were you can delete and copy the object youve selected (im a bad teacher ik)
