DIY True Custom Player Rigs

Hey everyone,

 

So lately i understand there have been a lot of "custom rigs" going around. I think that's pretty neat and all, but what if they were more customized? And if you did them yourself?

 

 

INTRODUCING GENERIC PLAYER RIGS!!!

An Eye / Finger Rig for anyone's custom uses! (Sorry, no mouth. Those are hard anyways.)

 

VERSIONS:

 

1.0: 1st One!

1.5: Fixed a few random skin placements, moved some features around, geared toward anime skins

 

Now, these may seem bad at first.

And they are.

But hear me out. TO GET THEM TO WORK!!!:

 

1) Go use an image editor of your choice and remove your char's eyes. Also make sure to make a second copy of the skin with their arms their basic skin / glove color, and their headwear the same blank skin color. You'll see why.

 

2) Save it, and when you get back to the rig, replace the main char model with the skin.

 

3) Replace the finger and eye cover skins with your second copy you made.

 

4) Move the eyes as necessary (the rigs' ones) and recolor / size them to your liking, if needed.

 

5) Enjoy and like this! Please?

guys, please provide constructive comments instead of just screaming no pics no clicks because that gets old, if you have nothing to say concerning the topic please refrain from doing things

 

that being said, daxton in the future please have pictures of your work ready before posting a topic, there's a guide on posting images in forum announcements/discussion

Thank you, Steve, and they will be up in a moment. I apologize, as I was a bit time pressed.

 

Also, fixing a small problem that the eye covers were accidentally removed.

 

EDIT: Alright, everything is fixed, now all of ye rigless out there, rejoice! Probably.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but I made this so that people could actually customize it, not ask for how it's done, and hope it's good. Sorry, but that's how I'm doing this.

Dude i can guess how it's done just by looking at the pic

But it's really great if someone want's an instant character rig but for those who are quite skilled at this might just use the model and rig it cause it's seems laborious making a character out of blocks and body part :/

And YES, this is my first rig. Ever. It's not that great, but I wanted to make it for people that needed a quick, or customized rig.
