How can i attach something to a character?

I,m watched skidude's tutorials,but i don't know how to do it. At older versions, there was a button: Lock to a character or object

in my version there's nothing like that button.

make sure you have the most up to date version of mineimator - there will be a tab on the right labeled instances. There you can select an object that you have already added and click the Lock Parent box and then the drop downlist of what one to lock to.
