(Warning: If you are new to Mine-imator, I highly recommend you don't look at this. Start off with the basics)

Hello! I want to give you some advice on how to make your animations have a incredible peformance in movement. There's a few categories to cover in this. I'll try my best to make it clear as possible.

Character Movement:

Compare these two animations. You'll notice a difference between them.

Once you're done, read the tips.

1. Never make your character freeze. Like the left character. (Unless the character is off camera.)

2. Never make the X, Y, or Z axis set to 0. (This way you won't get the default character position.)

3. Never put the transition to linear. (Which you'd probably know by now.)

4. Don't use bending too often. If you're in a situation were you have to, it's fine.

5. Don't use the walking animation. Try doing a different style in walking. (It's fun!)

Block Movement:

1. Use the position tool on the right to place the block into a scenery. (For exact positoning.)

2. If someone explodes/mines the block, change the scale instead of the alpha. (So it could shrink.)

3. If the block is on the ground, don't make it spin like Minecraft, just leave it on the floor.

Camera Movement:

1. If you want to have a shakey camera effect, make zig-zag keyframes lined up to form this.

2. To make your animation look like a movie, add black boxes on the top and bottom. Like this.

3. Don't put the transition to linear too often.

Comment and give me a rep if this helped! Bye!

An animation with these tips will be coming out soon.

OreMaster, TheWingedDemon, ÜberKiller, and TheSpiderRider will be in it. (Lucky you :D)

It's hard to explain. Try taking two characters and compare them. Make the first character linear and the second character ease in and out. You'll see the difference.

This video of mine, it has the people using the linear walk and my own ease in and out backward walk

Couldn't have worded the use of the easing tool better myself.

It is a powerful ability if used in the correct hands. And using ease-in and out for camera movement works the best for dramatic camera movements. Using ease in or ease out I've seen get the worst effect because the camera is too touchy. Makes the switch between from ease out to linear too easy to notice and makes a slight "chop" to the movement which looks horrid.

Also you could go over the use of the camera from changing rotate to 'move' They do exactly like what they sound and are also powerful tools for the camera manipulation. Rotate is for slow rotates into areas while the move is more accurate camera movement.

Ah! Now I see what you're talking about! This isn't the kind of animation I'm referring to. That video is the animation compared to the character on the left. At your stage, you do not need to follow these tips.

That video was a test one of mine, and also my very first attempt at animating. I'm redoing it and trying to make it the best i can do :)

So,  what's wrong with other people's Animation? I'm sure they did them either for fun or from boredom. Try not to make fun of other people's animations.

I'm curious as to how you got the ideas he was saying people's animation were bad? These are just tips to help you.

When Walking, Linear is recommanded. When a walking animation.

This one is pretty tricky. When you make a walking animation with linear, it'll look fine. Try changing the linear to ease in and out.

Dont bother. He's always like that.

Pretty much everyone starts an animation by boredom, even me. This is just tips as they said.

Just a thing for the block movement. The Don't for block spin should be if you'd like. Some people prefer to add a spin :)

With this step, there's no judging it's realistic or not. No big difference if you do it or not. xD

...uhm.. make a gmail?

I can't because I'm under the age of 13. You might be thinking: "So?" My dad won't allow to have a gmail until I turn 13. And no, I'm not going to sneak a gmail. xD

For me i cant get the Ease In and Ease Out to work looks to chopy and sudden to me i prefer Linear

Ease in and ease out are horrible, don't worry. :D But instead of linear, you should try ease in and out. It makes a big difference.
