  1. Download So I looked around online for free armor walking, running, and movement sound effects, but, first off, I couldn't find many, and, second, they didn't seem to be free. So me and Power Animation made these sound effects for public use. If you use these, you don't need to credit us (attribution isn't necessary). These sound effects are of basic armor. These sounds include: basic movement in armor, walking & running in armor, jumping in armor, getting knocked down and getting up in armor, & getting hit with wood & metal in armor. I think these will be very useful to mine-imator users and hope they aid you well! I know it's a little late, but, Merry Christmas!
  2. Just a short animation I made. I use a more frame by frame technique, I'm more used to that being a 2D animator. Here's one I did testing a gun item I made. Basic slingshot web thing I did. I had another version where I animated the webs, but It's too much work to upload again given my slow upload speeds. Another spidey one... That's all for now folks. A demo of the landing animation. Took some advice and tried to go smoother. I'm still using 15 FPS and a frame by frame technique for the character animations All Skins were created by me, for me alone. All animation work was done in the comunity build, no editing was done. All animated in tempo 15. I don't know what the usual standard is, but 15 fits into 30FPS the smoothest when doing these frame by frame things. ALSO If a mod could teach me how to do spoilers if needed... that'd be great. I'm not used to this forum, hence why I came in a few months ago and just started asking for stuff, I'm not used to being a nobody. I used to be well known on WTFTeam, and Shuniu.
  3. Hey guys, I have made my first run cycle here's a quick peek: Note:
  4. So, Mine-Imator is an amazing program. The only problem is the movement is rather choppy. It's not the program, it's linear movement. And while this IS changeable, it's easy to forget/time consuming. The solution would probably be to change the default movement to anything BUT linear. I think there maybe a new movement among itself should be made, but if I had to choose one... I think I would go with Ease in and out (Cubic.) This just seems to look so much smoother than movement in a completely straight line. Humans don't move like that. If the movement were to change, it could make a MAJOR difference in the animation. Thanks for reading!
  5. So I've been trying to move text around, when suddenly Y and Z became flipped. Attempting to move it forward/backward makes it go up/down, and vice versa. Example: By the way, this only happens with text, nothing else. Please help!

  7. Um... IDK how to start this topic so this is my start LOL but um.. it would be cool if joint movement(or i believe it is all called) to be incorperated to have like a realistic feel and make work easier for people as i said going for a realism feel but with a option to switch between what we have now and to give better explanation for what i mean is something like SFM(or i believe Blender,C4D and Autodesk Maya has it not sure someone else correct me on this)

    Paths!

Hey! This is my first post but i think that mine-imator should have lines that you draw, then edit with little dots that appear on the line, and the object you parent to it will glide across the line, this would make it so much easier to make jumping over distances because at the moment it kinda goes up, straight, down, so this would make it more fluent! Thanks to anyone who read this! Bye

    movement questions

I remember trying mine-imator a while back and recently wanted to try it again. I never finished a animation and got as far as making a 3-4 sec walk. Since I want to try again and make real animations using this, theres a few questions I want to ask first.(there may have been something in a update that made what I'm saying simpler but I don't know) 1) How far should Steve's limbs move while he walks? I distinctly remember fiddling around with the arms and legs trying to figure out how to make them look like they were moving like they would in minecraft. This means making them go the right degrees back and forth at the right times. So, how far would a step take him in what amount of time. (I basically what to know how to correctly animate him walking like he would in minecraft.) 2) how far would a step (going from not walking-> legs and arms up fully -> legs and arms down) be? How far would he have to move to make it look realistic to minecraft? And how would I do that in mine-imator? 3)Mew. Thats about it. hope someone can help.
  16. Hey everyone, I was not sure if this was already suggested, but I would like to suggest that the "body" of the characters in Mine-Imator should have some sort of feature to bend and to move. An example of this would be the guy in the elevator in Psy's music video of Gangnam Style. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p55jwAwwzw Go to 1:55 and watch the Pigman. Thanks for reading, Eratheon
