  1. Village Blacksmith ik this looks mid didn't really spent much effort on it
  2. I'm looking for tips to improve my lighting overall in my animation. Some scenes I got to look great but they're using the sun or artificial lighting, I'm trying to make it look good in some scenes that don't have the sun out at that time of day or any lights in shot. Mine-Imator settings: Shadows all at Gigantic and Very Big. Other settings all at high or max. Images: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jGM3QBAUa7dWsNfLrvZP8WI9Zp-oSs6j?usp=drive_link
  3. My first mine-imator model I created and submitted. This is a mine-imator model of a 2 block long fluorescent ceiling lamp with details like removable cover and blubs. This model is free and no credits needed. However, it'd be nice if you can link back to this page if you use the model in your animations. Please read the README file in the folder for more info. 4. This test animation was made to kinda test my realistic lighting in a video format for a work in progress animation that takes place in realistic environments. I played around with using multiple glow sources to make a more customized god ray. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: This scene is actually still being worked on as it's one of the many settings I still have to make for the animation project.
  5. With both accounts verified and the games installation done, two friends begin their journey on a Minecraft LAN world. They have lots of fun making torches and punching wildlife animals, but their safety is only temporary. The sun is setting, and at night, the vibrant block world becomes a very dangerous place. Out of a nearby cave stagger two braindead zombies, groaning and mumbling as their feet drag across the ground. It won't be long before the forest is littered with monsters of all shapes, and sizes. This one was a lot of fun to do. I don't do many Minecraft renders with Mine-imator, but I wanted to start learning how to do them properly, so here's one! I got a few criticisms over the skybox used, and that's fair! It's actually the same skybox I used in this render of Eve. It was going to be a daytime render, coming from the mouth of a cave, however I felt the composition worked better from further out of the cave, but then it started to look like they were walking in broad daylight. Of course zombies burn in the daylight, so that wouldn't work. I tried adjusting the coloration of the skybox, and it didn't work as well as I hoped it would. I'm keeping that one in mind for future renders. I'm still figuring out how lighting works and all, so please let me know if there's anything wrong or that could use some improvement! I want to hear your criticisms, that's the key to improving my work!
  6. This project is a symbol of how anything I make is just a reflection of my emotions that is converted into some sort of visual experience. I don't use Mine-imator much anymore so I thought I'd re-visit Mine-imator and produce something I enjoyed making back when I did. I played around with surfaces and how they reflect shadows. Don't be afraid to send honest feedback Fun fact: This render was made in 24 hours, but was started while intoxicated at 4am.
  7. I've been working on lighting for a long time I think this looks good. Tell me what you think in the comments! ^0^
  8. Hello! I've picked up Mine-Imator after again a number of years, and made something with it. I'm looking to improve, and felt it'd be best to post a creation I consider "finished", to get constructive criticism and learn from it- feel free to judge & give advice if you're able to, thanks! Attempt 1 (10/18/20) - Used what I thought looked good: Attempt 2 (10/18/20) - Used advice from users on the MI Discord, thanks!: If you'd consider, please rate and critique the following: - Posing: (1 to 10 rating) - Expressions (1 to 10 rating) - Lighting: (1 to 10 rating) - Scenery (1 to 10 rating) - Overall feedback /w anything else you feel you should say Thank you to all those willing to help me improve!
