  1. The Obsidian Suite has now moved to its own site, and the API is now fully released.
  2. Latest development: https://streamable.com/hz8gw Still looking for animators, the animations in the video are all made by me (so they're terrible ) Check the mod out here: http://dabigjoe.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/obsidian-suite.html
  3. I haven't even though about that, so probably not, sorry.
  4. A new version of the animator has launched! It now has better Tabula support, and a merge tool for reducing the number of parts in complex models. Download Tutorial Discord If you haven't already, join the Discord to stay up to date and give feedback!
  5. I've just made a Discord chat for the Obsidian Suite, check it out here.
  6. I've just added Tabula support and released a new version!! It now means you can animate any models made in Tabula Get the latest version here!
  7. Ahh I see. Well currently models can be imported from Blender (and only Blender), but I'm planning to add Tabula support since that is the main modelling software for Minecraft. Both would allow you to create the kind of thing you're looking for I guess. Thanks!! Have you tried downloading and running the software?
  8. Ahh okay, so that isn't part of the model I'm assuming? It's added on after via a texture or something?
  9. You mean the lack of bending? I had previously implemented bends like in mo' bends, but they were very specific to the player. Since this is intended to work for all models, I disable bends temporarily. I plan to add it back in for the full release.
  10. Update The animator now has an alpha release! Check the top of the post for information on where to download it, and watch the trailer!
  11. Update The Obsidian Animator and API are progressing really well! The API now supports smooth animation transitions and animations can be imported with ease. The one thing missing is animations - specifically for the player. The animator is ready to be used, but I would like a few test users to have a go before it's released. Let me know if you want to give it a try and make some player animations (walking, punching, mining etc.)!
  12. ***Update*** The animator is now ready for testing, I have created a tutorial video and have a download available to those who are interested in using it, however it isn't ready for public release yet as it needs further testing and development. Contact me if you are interested in using it right now!
