Single Status Update

So when 6th grade started I promised myself that I would think before pulling myself into situations. But that year was even worse than it regularly was. I dealt with heartbreak, ended friendships, hatred, bias, and just overall depression. So as I move into a new school, it is the absolute PERFECT opportunity to completely end any chance of that and start as a completely new and better person. Basically, resetting my overall social life. Any tips to improve my control over situations? What do you tell yourself before you do anything, and how did you learn to remember it? Have you ever solved a similar sitiuation, and if so... how?
